He's still got a future here, quality keeper.... everybody goes through a dip in form at some point.
I would be very happy if he stayed here for the rest of his career

    Kyogo. A phenomenon
We are not a selling club (unlike the Hun). First and foremost, Boruc is contracted to us for the foreseeable future; this is a fact that brings me great pleasure.

Every goalkeeper - irrespective of stature / experience - goes through bad runs. Van Der Saar had it last year, Gomes at Spurs has gone from being a bombscare to one of their better performers of late, Reina / Cech have not exactly sparkled this year, McGregor doesn't look as secure as last season.....

This list could go on and on. Show some faith in a guy who - quite rightly - is renowned as one of the top goalkeepers in Europe. My only concern is with his weight; Strachan's comments about Gascoigne aside, he really should be dropping a few pounds. Other than that, he is one of the genuinely top class players in our squad. Where were all these nay-sayers when he saved from Boyd not so long ago? Probably saying you were delighted he's looking like he's back to his best ffs!

The vast majority of all of this is media sensationalism - especially with Boruc who courts controversy off the pitch. The coaching staff will take him to one side, and work hard with him. Come Summer, when Zaluska arrives, i expect him to be back in form, deemed accurately as one of Europe's elite.

Brown is, and always will be, a dedicated professional who is COMPETENT. I'd take Boruc any day of the week ahead of that.

Has he played continually for last 3 seasons? No
Is he an international goalkeeper? No
Has he excelled at amajor inernational tournament such as European Championships? No
Has he been mentioned as a 10 million transfer target when at the top of his form? No
Does he come for crosses? No.
Does Strachan rate him as a natural successor? No.....why sign Zaluska?
Is he even Dundee Utd class? No.......otherwise Levein would have bartered to bring him to Tannadice.
Not end of........but perhaps a few salient points for consideration in the debate.

I reckon Mark Brown has requested to move on but GS has asked him to stay until a replacement is signed. Zaluska will be here in the summer and Brown will probably move to for first team football in the lower end of the championship

    why sign zaluska?

because he'll put pressure on boruc and from what i've seen of him this season he's better than brown. unfortunately it seems no matter how poorly artur is playing he's not going to get dropped, maybe that wouldn't be the case if zaluska was here.

he definitely is dundee united class and the reason they didn't keep him is because they cant compete with the wages we offered

here's a quote from the horse mouth (i'm not talking about cuellar)

"He refused what was our best offer and intimated that he'd been offered far more money elsewhere," United manager Craig Levein told BBC Sport last week. "I know the type of money they are talking about and it's ridiculously high compared to what we're offering.
"It's a short career - I know that myself having had injuries

fair points on the original post put if im weighing up the times he's saved our *, against the times he's nearly and or cactually cost us games... I'd be keeping him!! At least until we have an equally good keeper lined up

No chance should we sell him.but i agree that dropping him for a few games is right now the best thing to do and may do him the world of good.im confident that we will see boruc back to his best.

Boruc has had a great run here but I think a move would be best for his career and for Celtic. A move might get him to focus again as he seems to have become comfortable and we could really use the 7-10m for a class striker and a LB. Honestly his recent form has been the final straw for me.

My dream would be selling Boruc and bringing in Podolski (I think he would love to come to Parkhead).
