Artur boruc to stay or go

As it's already been said it has been years since we last had a quality keeper. It would be foolish to let him go now after waiting so long to get a keeper like him. We don't need to sell players to bring in quality, Dermot Desmond is, in a word, minted. Would it hurt him to invest a bit in our team.
Which brings us on to another topic entirely. I know what your answer is going to be but would you, or another one else on the forum trust Strachan with a tidy transfer kitty?

 

Dermot Desmond has invested a lot of money in celtic. I hate when some celtic fans say, he's minted so should invest more. No he shouldnt! So if your rich and your a celtic fan it means you are obliged to spend it on celtic? We should be thankful for Dermot's contribution.

Dont get me wrong mate, im thankfull. But i know for a fact if i was sitting with fortunes like his i would be backing the team to strive that the huns never see the league title again.

 

He's too good for our team and league. seriously, he's a winner guy with a great personality (as far as I can judge it). He's gonna look for a new challenge, a better contract and a better league. and he has earned it!

 

A think he will leave in the summer.

 

I was vocal in January on this very subject. I didn´t trust him then and I certainly would not trust him in the summer. Would you.?

There was a topic a week or so back on here that opened my eyes to how poor strach is in the transfer market. Out of Teams 1-3 theres only about 3 signings that have been worthy of Celtic. Now that is absolutely shocking. I'll admit though i was pro-strachan up untill xmas untill i sat and thought about what exactly has Strachan brought to the team... not very much. Anybody that walked into Celtic wouldve been able to win the league the last 2 seasons.

he is the best keeper weve had since simpson ,maybe better
but if we get offered 13 million i would take it,we realistically will never go further than the last 8 in the champions league, the board wont spend 60-70 on the team son having someone like jaskelinan in goal would do well for us , good enough for the spl and alright in europe, lets us spend the money on better players for our team

had to vote yes not bcause i want him to leave i just think a new manager could do with the cash and shay given would be my choice of replacement

 

He definetly should not be sold he is a fantastic keeper and as the song goes 'he hates the huns' so we shouldn't sell anyone that the fans love so much as he gets the biggest cheer of most games just for blessing himself.

hedman,douglas,brotto
now we have one of the best in the world we have people like caldwel and naylor infront of him

 

posted yes cos we could buy another good keeper and strengthen the squad but only if strachan does not get the funds to use

 

i think his new contract is a petrov scenario,artur has already stated that he wishes to try a new league and i think he even hinted after he signed that there was a release clause.at the end of the day who could blame him watching the non-tryers & diddies in front of him,his stock has never be higher so will get a good fee at least
