    Using his pace to outrun poor, poor defenders, so timid they wouldn't put in a half decent challenge.

    Henry vs Madrid - that's how something like that is done.

    As someone said, it's hard to compare them. One is a striker and the other is a winger.

    However, as they are both attacking players - if my team was 1-0 down with ten minutes left and we were going for a goal, I know I'd rather have Cavani in my team to come up with something special:50:

    Anyway, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

    I wouldn't even compare him with Henry:56:Like I said, I do not rate Bale amongst the best on the planet, but I just can't understand the hate for the guy really. Still a brilliant player, carried Spurs for much of last season and that's a fact.

    It's sickening to be perfectly honest. No football player should be worth that much, I don't care how good they are, never mind a player who's only had one great season.

    If Falcao is going for about £55 million (which is still a crazy fee) then Bale should be worth half of that.

    I'd pay £40m max for him personally. I'd also rather he went to Man united to act as the 'Next Ryan Giggs' or whatever. Real Madrid annoy me bringing in all these players for massive fees and half of them end up not making it there.

    For example they have ruined one of my favorite players of all time in Kaka. Never been the same since moving there, granted he has had a few injuries but they have just kept bringing in players in his position forcing him onto the bench. The fact they spend £35m on that Illarramendi is insane as well.

    Kaka's demise is down to a slightly different style of player becoming more popular. He's certainly been an amazing player but the downfall of the "specialist" is down to the upsurge in "all-rounders". Or guys that can multi-task out on the park.

    This is why the German teams are so proficient and the likes of Barca and Spain can play with no obvious striker. The whole of the midfield can play up front. Defenders can play midfield, attacking midfielders don't shirk the defensive side of the game.

    I think this is why Kaka isn't so popular, or getting a game for Madrid so often. If he was with Dortmund or Munich or Barca or Juve he'd be on the bench too. Why because someone else is their who won't stop working when they don't have the ball.

    Still, wasting a player like Kaka on the bench is incredible, I hope for his sake he leaves this season. I fully believe he could still go on and star at another big club in Europe, Man united would be a good move.

    Can't believe that someone would actually try to claim that the English Premier League is better than the Bundesliga. It's ludicrous. The EPL is just a collection of soul-less teams filled with mercenary players. The players don't care about their clubs, and it is painfully obvious. The fans stay seated for the entire match and making virtually no noise, resulting in terrible atmospheres more akin to an under 19's friendly match than an actual game of competitive football. The Bundesliga is superior in every way.

    I definitely agree that even the best English teams cannot match with the Spanish teams because Spanish play style of football which English cannot cope with,but can you just for a second concetrate on things I am saying to you all the time?The league is not only about best teams-if that is the measure of good league then Brazilian league should be one of the best-Santos have beaten European champions Chelsea :87:
    The point is that league has to have teams which are financially equall or nearly so,that are on the same level and can COMPETE for the title.When will Atletico Bilbao or Werder Bremen have enough money to mount for the challenge of winning the league?Bayern are financial giants for every club in Germany and now they are destroying only threat that has left to them-Borussia Dortmund by buying their key players.Sorry,i don't find that interesting to watch.
    I personally enjoyed Eredivisie this season almost even more then Epl,5 teams competing almost to the last fixture in which 90% of teams are playing total football,in 4-3-3 with plenty of goals.


    Would like to write some reasons about Man Utd * crowd and overhyped Liverpool support but that would be too off-topic...
