Sameras has surprised me, he has been one of the best players in pre season so far.

Fortune should be nowhere near the first team squad IMO, but I think hooper looks like not only a goalscorer but a very good al round player.

lots of positives and a good work out that will have stretched our players and sharpened them up.

    Bad aspect-

Zalusa looks a bit out of his depth.

Mulgrew is a really major brainstorm by Lenny. He is a rotten defender. We badly need a proper LB in. What were you thinking of Lenny?

Rass-I am almost convinced now he is nothing more than a Killen type squad player. Can score but not mobile enough to ever be great. A Mogga mistake.

So GK, LB, maybe an experienced CH and another striker are needed.

Dont know if this has been mentioned already but just watched the highlights and thought Hooiveld was absolutely solid 99% of the time. Didnt notice it so much when I was watching it live but he looks the part and to be fair he looked solid enough in Braga as well. Think if we get a good partner for him he could really do a job

Ki, Crosas and Juarez showed why Brown should be no where near the starting 11. Hopefully Kayal will too. All the young boy's look great aswell.

Murphy, Mulgrew and Maloney seemed off the pace completely, Mulgrew was left horribly exposed by Murphy, Maloney needs a few more weeks to get back to match fitness.

I've been thinking it a while, Brown will be doing well to get his game ahead of Juarez and Ledley.
Hooiveld and Rogne would be my first choice cb's, immediate and urgent need for goalie and left back.

I was at the match yesterday. It was an exciting match, whereas as the previous match AC Milan V Lyon was so boring, I nearly comtemplated slitting my wrists. I was sitting in the Arsenal section with my Celtic shirt on. I sang as loud as could, I didn't care I was surronded by red shirts.
I was near the Celtic section as well. I just want to say we were brilliant supporters, our singing was supberb. We were so innovative, funny and spontaneous in our response to their taunts especially when Celtic section sang ' Same old Arsenal, always cheating ! Arsenal fans are so boring, it was like sitting in a Doctors Surgery sometimes

Although I am a Londoner, am proud to be a Celtic Fan. * bless our club and our fans !

I didn't see many flags out as usual. Were The Ultras there by any chance ?
They always have their Che flag ?

The rules of the tournament were that if there was a tie for points then the team with the most shots on target took the higher place in the table.Sky Sports had it correct,we came third as we had 10 shots on target compared to Lyon's 13.

Another funny moment was when Arsenal fans started a * mexican wave, it went right round the stadium then whe t was coming towards the Celtic fans we were going "ooooooohhhhhhh........" then when it got to us we all sat down and booed and jeered "* off!" haha.
