Once he gets consistency in his game he'll be utter class. We've seen flashes of it, first half last night a prime example.

Him on set pieces is some upgrade too. Mental to actually feel like we can score from corners, how long has it been :giggle1:

Thought he was excellent 1st half.. but after the penalty miss, you could see it affected him.

Does need to vary his pens, too often he goes low keepers left.

To be fair he did miss at Dingwall, before rightfully getting a second bite..

There's no doubt he didn't look fully confident last night but I'd still trust him as our designated taker every time. Just hammer them in, no doubting yourself son..

Engels looked terrified before he took the penalty kick, strange because he had already converted five before, albeit one was a retake, I can only put it down to the incredible pressure on the night to qualify for the latter stages of the Champions League.

I hadn't seen him do that little stuttering run up before either, so he needs to cut that out at penalties, because if you get it wrong, it gives the goalkeeper a better chance to second guess you, and none of this side passing the penalty in, just put your laces through the ball with power and direction, either side of the goalkeeper, or straight down the middle, Barry Robson style.

Still very inconsistent. Did some good things last night but also some poor stuff too. At least he takes a good corner(he whips the ball in with pace unlike O'Reilly who used to float the ball across) which we've been lacking for a while.

Wildly inconsistent. Clearly has a great engine and delivery is sensational but... Guilty of silly fouls and giving the ball away in bad positions. Lots of potential but needs to be much more composed and improved his decision making.

Pass for Kyogo, pass for Kuhn, cross for Kuhn and the ball he kneed and no looked passed it over the top was a belter too for someone. Tackle for 3rd offside goal was a beauty too. I thought he was one of the best on the pitch first half.

Nice play for the 2nd goal and worked hard. A bit slack at times

You knew as soon as he decided to try and outmuscle McGinn we were in trouble though.

Game summed him up. Some very nice touches and that flick for the goal was brilliant. Clear natural talent.

But needs to toughen the * up and bring some physicality to his game. If he can do that could be great, but it’s totally missing and when it gets physical he disappears.

Decent 20 min spell in first half, then anonymous after that.

Shows his inexperience that, something that'll come with more gametome at this level.

    Thought he was good overall.

Aye, I don't expect him ever to be able to body McGinn, few midfielders can, but he had to be smarter there, slide it out for a throw

That flick for the goal was lovely and he should have wiped McGinn out before their goal. Both pretty good examples of what he can do brilliantly and what he needs to improve on.

I thought he played well tonight but should have just taken McGinn out and took the booking, realising the * show Trusty had been left with behind him.

Third goal was all on Scales. Engels had the right idea. Had a good game.

That flick was outrageous. Has to be stronger though or just bring McGinn down. Really naive at times
