Great to see him playing again for Belgium. I think his ceiling must be as high as any player we've signed before.

Obviously rate him massively if he's sfarting back to back games. Do his confidence a world of good as well.

And why do teams not try a leg against that lot ?

 

He was fine. Belgium were poor though.

 

Engels didn't do much wrong but also did not stand out. Belgium players were constantly giving the ball away but luckily Engels wasn't one of them.

 

It's the only win Israel have had in the group, they got relegated.

 

Ineffective in a very poor Belgium side.

Seem to ge quite a few young players involved in the Nations League for Belgium so obviously using that to blood new players.

 

Maybe it was the empty stands in the last 2 games that affected the oppositions performance.

 

Wish we had that sort of forward thinking

 

Yep, happy to see Doak making an impact and I do think the likes of Hickey, McTominay and Gilmour are going to be mainstays in the team when we get going but we really should have called up Lennon Millar at least. I think McCowan should have had a call up too, to be honest. Players like Stuart Armstrong, Kenny McLean and Lawrence Shankland need binned.
