Games always get more scrappy in 2nd half when all the substitutes start to be made, as players trying to get a footing in the game and the pace and flow, etc, so it's hard to assess anything from that, as the job was pretty much already done by that point already. But he will be fine, just taking in the surroundings, getting used to teammates etc.

He looked like he wasn’t sure how to play that position in our team (which is obviously expected given we’re a well coached machine) but still acquitted himself well.

Could tell he was nervous and not used to the system, that will come no problem. Looks to have a good burst of pace as well, his first involvement with that run was great. Looking forward to seeing more of him.

Can’t really judge him on that game. Had some nice touches though when he did get the ball.

Struggled to get on the ball. Can’t really take much from the game. It’s good that he’s had a taste of it now.

Would have been a light one as well. Couple of weeks now to get integrated. He'll be fine.

Was watching him during the warm up at half time. He was fizzing the ball about more cleanly than any of our other players. Had a beautiful technique which i'm looking forward to seeing.

Was quiet during the game itself and perhaps didn't show as much as I would have hoped but tricky game to come into given the intensity.

He was fine, a bit surprised people are trying to analyse that performance from him, literally in the door and thrown in.

With the absurd amount of games we play this season, all of our midfielders will get plenty of gametime.

Yup, can't read anything in to any of the subs performances today really. Sure, I think everyone collectively forgot Idah even came on :giggle1:.

You can’t judge anything on that appearance. Its just chaos coming on at that point of the game when it’s wrapped up.

Debut under his belt, now has time to settle into the squad. Looking forward to seeing more of him.

Not going to judge him on that he is literally in the door a couple of days. One of the things I have saw him praised for is his tactical understanding beyond his years. I am sure he will be slotting into the team in no time at all.

Bernardo was also class today so it would have taken some performance to not see a drop in standard coming on. We as a team really stopped playing when McGregor scored too. Guys like McGregor and Taylor who had been excellent all day started making a few slack passes and getting caught in possession because the game was done.

    Had some nice touches.

Takes a lot to be thrown into that game. 2-0 up or not. Looking forward to seeing what kind of player he is.

Just a case of getting onto the pitch and getting a feel for where he is now. Nothing to judge him on at all...

Got to remember the kid is 20 years old. He’s going to take a bit of time to settle in and adjust to the pressures associated with the club and his transfer fee.
