Think he has had some tactical motm awards at home, in an attempt to boost confidence and/ or justify the outlay.

He's not a McGregor type. Lost alot from him game today.

We need another McGregor type in and these players are not cheap

I was shouting at him to bring the hun down when he was through at our defence, but allowed a dangerous attack to happen. Sometimes it's worth taking a booking.

This was the problem for me. We had no backup for Cal being out and Arne was switched out of his usual RM role and we weakened two positions.

That right side was brutal and it didn’t help having Nawrocki in, seemed like Nawrocki didn’t want to play the ball out to the left and kept recycling it to CCV to distribute the ball, which made it easy for them to defend us. It wasn’t until late in the first half that we started to give Jota the ball and we looked more dangerous.

Big ask for him to step into thst role.

Still maintain he's got loads of potential and wasn't our worst player.

We are so * honest to tbe game and its infuriating what those hun * were getting away with and nobody even got booked for us in a * derby.

Be * hard to play against in every area because the huns try every trick in the book

How many years did we watch teams run right through us in the late 90's? McManaman and Albertz were scoring from runs in their own half for example. First thing MON did when he came in was to give us more physicality, and it cancelled the huns tactics out immediately.

I'm not saying Brendan should adopt MON's philosophy, but there has to be a plan B if you are struggling against the huns in several games. We should have already scouted the next Lennon/Wanyama type player to give us a bit of dig.

You say no replacement for Cal Mac

But let's be honest. Cal Mac’s best position isn’t the holding cdm either

we get more out of him further forward

Needs a massive improvement. Good delivery and throwing arms at the fans won't cut it.

Had to laugh when he was raising his arms trying to motivate the crowd when there were guys playing beside him who looked as motivated as a turkey at Christmas

I like him. He likes to stick the boot in, but not enough. Takes him a while to get riled up. Will see the best of him next season.

I forgot all about that arm waving to the main stand, was a riddy :giggle1:

I think he's quality though. Didn't show it anywhere near enough yesterday but we will see it against them, I'm sure of it..

Good player but needs to bulk up, he is easily pushed of the ball.

TBH if we get a good offer for him in the summer, I would take it.
Good player in some respects, takes a decent penalty, but I just don't think he is cut out for us.
Lacks conviction I think, to be a top class Celtic player.

He wasn't the worst and was playing in a crucial role against the best side we face domestically

He’s strong when he doesn’t realise he’s outmuscling guys, when he’s concentrating on a shot or a pass or running with the ball, he brushes guys away. When he tries to outmuscle he’s a shitebag.

I was watching him very close from about 15 mins in. From then to half time, he didn’t show for the ball once. When he shouted for a pass was when they had a player between him and rhe ball.

    Hiding.

second half he was the opposite showing for everything, must have got it stinking half time.

But that seems to be his instinct when going gets tough. To hide.
