:56::56::56: Great analogy lol still feel there’s a player in there and reminding myself he’s 21 years of age. He really needs ( we really need) someone of top quality experience in the middle of the park. Would certainly help him along

He was invisible not as bad as those around him but just didn't do anything.

Still has a way to go.

He didn't step up in McGregor's absence. Disappointed and I expected more.

He was one of our better players today, in terms of linking possession and getting the ball forward for chances.

I can always forgive him mistakes cos he's 20. There were far more seasoned players that made a bigger meal of it the day.

My main concern with him is more fundamental. I feel like what made him a success at his past club was like tracking back for a tackle then ball over the top for the counter. I'm not sure he's really adapted to what we do. Even playing at DM again today, the sort of quick build-up play Rodgers favours does not seem to suit his skillset.

He's still got a long way to go though so that can all change.

Thought the midfield 3 were all pretty * today tbh.

Every single centre mid we have all want to do the same thing I think it would be massively beneficial if we just go out and sign a big * to play the holding role and then let the rest fight it out for the other 2 places

He didnt look like anywhere near an £11m player and didnt look like he is going to be anywhere near an £11m player.
Too lightweight. Bullied off the ball too many times.

Yeah, but remember he's only 21.

You're no allowed to say anything bad about him, maybe until he turns 24ish...

I think some of the above comments are harsh on him.

He didn't show up today, but I think he's largely been our best midfielder since Christmas, and he is still young, he'll only continue to improve.

I think Bernardo being out for so long hasn't helped, no real proper rotation and maybe it's allowed his standards to slip.

He's not been a patch on Callum, who by some's standards has been "*".

I think people calling McGregor * this season have also been way ott, I've always argued that he's majorly downplayed on here when he's our best player overall.

I do think Engels has been better since Christmas, but overall McGregor is up there for our POTY, hopefully he's back for Hearts

He has. But some folk are deluded, creaming their pants over his performances.

Whilst not shining in anyway today - he wasn't any worse or better than the majority today.

Personally, I think only daizen and jota looked to be playing with any real intent to make something happen. Nawrocki looked steady but even he seems to be getting too much credit for my liking, he didn't do anything wrong but it's not like he did anything of note either. Just done a steady job
