Played pretty well tonight tbf, few erratic moments but overall had a decent game, got stuck in, showed for the ball constantly, put in a few great deliveries, nearly won a penalty

 

His passing from standing on the right wing is always dangerous.

A real highlight tonight..

 

He was really good tonight. Halted a promising attack by getting bodied off the ball in the first half but they all seemed like machines. He gives the ball away trying to play first time passes quite a bit but they're the ones when they come off and lead to something we will all be Randy Marshing and wanting £50m for him.

 

Shows you money buys the extra bit of special. Brilliant.

 

We will see the best of him next season.

 

He looks at home at this level, mature as * in how he plays. Knows when to try something and when to stick his foot on it and just slow the game down.

Hopefully a lesson to the board that you have to speculate to accumulate. Of course it’s a risk spending big money on one player and it’s not 100% fool proof, but generally you get what you pay for and it’s a risk we can afford to take now with the piles of cash we’re sitting on.

 

He could have been in that Munich team and he'd have looked the part.

Hopefully get a brilliant 25/26 season from him and then sell him for 50m

 

Thought he struggled at the start a few times just wanting too much time on the ball but he was immense in that 2nd half, played his own game and bombed about the midfield. Definitely growing his confidence at that level, he’s more than capable.
