it does not say in the rule book, that a high profile name with bags of experience
comes in to a club of cetic will turn it around.

its a gamble Neil knows celtic, he knows what we want, the end of the day, i beleive if you dont want to play the celtic way under lennon then to all the primadonnas,
    sanddancers watch out...yer teas oot

not my first choice, but what big name in their right mind would have took it!?

i think lenny and co are more than capable and we'll probably have an older head in and he'll also have cesar to ask for help and wgs and mon a phonecall away..

Mixed feelings about this appointment i like lenny and belive that he may, based on his playing style and temprement have what it takes to make a great manager, but i thought the same thing about brian robson, we all know how that story ended.
Haveing said that, my real concern is not his ability to do the job we saw that to the end of season, but the abbility of our fans to be patient not start giveing him and the board gip if and when we go on a bad run, i for 1 will back him 100%

Yes I am very happy about the move. I think Lennon will do a great job in bringing our club back together. Last year was a disaster not just on the field but it seemed like the whole club was being pulled apart at times it was so bad.

No question and I am sure Lennon would be the first to admit it appointing such a young manager is a risk. But I think that this time we have the right man. We will see what signings follow over the next month. But you get the feeling Lennon's career and personality as a player are well respected so hopefully he will be able to attract some real quality to our team this summer.

You might only be new here , but watch how you talk to other user's and respect there post's.

I voted no as its the easy one for the board and nice and cheap , but i am giving Lennon my backing and hope he can prove me wrong ,

Undecided. His inexperience is highlight, but in the same time I think it's overhyped. Think Lenny has some great qualities and I hope they dominate over his flaws.

I'm actually excited about new season already, players we've been linked with are indication that Lennon doesn't joke around and wants to have strong side. He also wants overhaul of the squad, but that's what Mowbray tried last summer and it didn't end well...

Anyway, he wasn't my first choice manager, but I'll gladly get behind him. My favourite player of MON generation bar Larsson, loved the wee guy. If he can be as good manager as he was in his playing days, then I would be delighted. Also, if he can be as amazing leader of the team like he was back in the day when he wore that amband with pride, then I'm sure players won't give us same awful performances we've seen in past few seasons, they will give their best if he can install that fighting spirit in them.

That's the best case scenario ^, but I still have my doubts.
