I love you Bob, lets no fight. I hate going to bed angry at a loved one.

Bring it in ya big galoot.

I watched lots of football in my younger days, everything from EPL to league 2 and even the conference but now only Celtic and Scotland.

I've not taken the time to read through all the posts. I voted for 'Celtic fan' but in hindsight, I am a football fan. I had a similar conversation earlier tonight with my mates. I was in the minority, by a mile, who didn't 'have' an English team. I could watch a Man Utd v. Liverpool game and not sway either way, I enjoy watching both. I never root for any team over another when it comes to the EPL. And I enjoy watching games be it the World Cup or my local Junior team (the experiences being vastly different). But first and foremost I love watching Celtic. From the dark days of the nineties until present day, my passion for the hoops has never wavered.

Celtic first, Celtic last, and Celtic overall.

But I'm a football fan, at the end of the day.

Just Celtic for me these days. The only way I have any emotional attachment to other games now is if they are in the process of * my coupons

Got my local football team which happens to be in the top flight in Norway.

And Celtic is the "international team" that I follow.

I think most people have other teams and players that they like.

Most of us will support the underdog .. who can forget wimbledon v liverpool.

It is easy to admire a team playing well, but sometimes watching a gutsy performance, especially in a cup game, is something that shows the game is more than just about the team you support..

for a start you need an opposition team, you need a league to play in and you need other clubs to sign players from. When working away from home it is not always easy to follow your own team.. but i have been to many games where workmates invited me along..

I enjoy a day out at the football... and celtic would be my choice but its not always possible. Went to see George Best play for the Hibees.. also been to may english clubs when lads at work invited me along.

Matchday experience, travel, pubs etc ... I also support Scots clubs in europe and want them to do well (odd exception).

Celtic as a club have so much more than most clubs and if you go to other clubs games then you might just appreciate what we have all the more...

lower league clubs also good day out.. drinking in the clubhouse with players after the match etc.

I am a fitba fan whose team and club mean more than all the others put together. If celtic didn't exist i would still watch fitba but it wouldn't be the same

surely every celtic fan must like football as they are watching celtic play football after all. I get what the thread means though. I'm a mad celtic fan and get a lot of excitement out of watching us. But i love football, playing semi pro myself now and watch epl, la liga, championship and my local semi pro team when im not playing. i like to see my local semi pro side do well and follow their results, cheer when they score etc but thats just my local little team. im celtic daft and no other football comes close to watching celtic.

I like to watch good football and usually have a team i would rather win a game but dont lose sleep over it if they dont. eg barca v real i would rather barca won but wouldnt give a * if they didnt.

I'm a celtic fan first and foremost. I enjoy watching wider football and playing it. And i also like my local side to do well

My local pro side is afc bournemouth. i have been to 2 games this season, makes you realise how special we are with our songbook, the gallowgate etc

I'm a football fan that happens to support Celtic, luckily it's by choice. Originally I was a Man United fan, but there was something about Celtic that attracted me, and pulled me away from United.

Something similar has happened recently with St Pauli. I've fallen for them just like I did for Celtic, perhaps it's the same mysterious pull that a special club can do to you. I've not become less of a Celtic supporter from it though.

I'll watch Celtic and St Pauli, if both are playing at the same time, I'll watch both. One on tv/laptop, the other on my phone.

I have an admiration for Preston North End (my hometown) too, but not close to Celtic or St Pauli. :50:
