No, I'm not happy with Mowbrays appointment, nor was I happy when it was announced that Strachan got the job.
I'm disappointed that the board are happy to "just do enough" to win the league, rather than attempting to take any significant steps forward.
Lets hope they back him for some decent investment in the playing staff, we badly need it.

He'll still get my 100% support though.

I was dissapointed we were not able to look a grade above at managers about 10 years older or more with more top level experience. However, of the small group of real candidates who were in the frame he ticks by far the most boxes and had the most relevent experience. All of them were untested at a big winning club so he is a gamble. He is a good few seasons of EPL football short of WGS and MON in terms of experience when they arrived. So, in a sense he is a step backwards in candidate standard from 4 and 9 years ago and it is interesting that despite this he will be much more welcomed than WGS.

However, Mogga has many good attributes like SPL experience as a player and manager, a good playing style, the fact that he (like WGS but unlike MON) is a hands-on training ground manager who is good with youth and at improving existing players and he has a great personality and a stoic serious/sincere bearing of the type many tims like so much. So, I am fairly happy. If he can show he is pragmatic and not some sort of football idealist then he may do very well.

although that would be worth nothing if he isnt a winning manager like his predecessor. Although I loved Tommy Burns I really do not want another era of great football but being beaten by ugly football and sucker punches.

I'll back him all the way but I'm very pessimistic about his appointment and I don't think it will be a successful one.

im unsure, its all good and well playing good looking football but we will still need to win. Altough i will definitly be looking foward to some nice football after the dross of the last two years. Hope he will have learned that sometimes ugly football will be required but not all the time:icon_mrgreen: Anyway Welcome Back Mogga. Now get are title back off that antifootball scum called Rankers Hail Hail:celt_2:

It shows that the board have ambition paying 2 million for him when they could have took the cheap option and paid motherwell 200 grand for mcgee, so am happy with that and i am also very pleased with the appointment , but we do need a bit of investment in the team your right about that!! its also obvious that players need to go:50: I have faith in the manager and i am going to give him my 100% backing

I am happy yes. I think he has done well so far as a manager and his teams have played good football which is enjoyable to watch and as a person he is a class act.

On a scale of 1-10, 10 being ecstatic Id say Im a 6.

Hes a Celtic man, understands the club and fans, plays good footbll and wont mess about the way WGS did so often.

Give the guy a chance and lets get behind the bhoys.

HAIL HAIL! See ye all at Wembley.:icon_mrgreen:

I'm happy that we now have a manager in place. But I voted unsure as it would be unfair to judge him just now.

    Yes.

He's totally committed to real football, a good man-manager, and knows what it means to be a Celtic player.

We will take on the horrendous anti-football of you-know-who, and we will win. :50:
