With Kayal gone there might be an addition, or maybe he was to make way for GMS? Still need another winger after GMS, Forrest is only capable of playing 4 games before having to
    take a break.
Like the look of that Segio Arjuro (however the * you spell it) has flair and pace exactly what we need for Europe up top.

What about Eoin Doyle? Or 'Doyler' as he affectionately known.

He was a young Swedish international bosman, playing in a league not too dissimalir to ours.

Van Dijk was team of the year in a league stronger than ours that we had a fair outlay on.

Aye, it's usually around the 3rd or something though. Thought it was quite right with only a few days left.

Lustig was 25 when we signed him and a very experienced International player, with EPL teams interested in signing him as well. He had 2 league winners medals prior to signing with us as well, and had been at a European Championships with Sweden. I would say he come with more pedigree than Van Dijk.

    * sake, I thought he'd just turned 24. Aye, fair enough. EPL teams were also interested in Wanyama, I don't think that EPL teams being in for you means you're more proven, look at Tonev.

I know what you are getting at but Van Dijk was one of the best defenders of the year in a better league.

Aye, but EPL teams were looking at potential when it come to Wanyama. Where as Lustig was established as it was if you know what I'm getting at. I can see what you are saying about Van Dijk, but we were still only talking about potential when we signed him, as we still are, where as Lustig was an experienced International player.

Van Dijk was both, Lustig had played 30 odd Sweden games when we signed him. Maybe a bit less. International but not a completely experienced one if you get me?

Van Dijk was both, a player with current ability to get in a good leagues team of the year with the scope to improve. Infact Van Dijk and Lustig is the perfect guideline of what we should be doing.

I don't think Virgil and Lustig represent the perfect model for the type of signing us fans want for Celtic . Lustig has been a model professional , apart from been a bit injury prone ,
Virgil's contract had hardly dried until he was wanting to get down to England . We know that some of our signings who do well for us are going to move on , but I think we should have two years before we start worrying about losing them .

whats this i heard about darren fletcher we really interested in him or is it just paper talk

i like him very experienced and a very good player probably would have to be pay per play contract though, because of his lack of fitness over the last few years

More fool you if you expect us to have a decent January transfer window.

Glad we haven't went for the token 'we need someone so take this * on loan" style that has happened before just for the * of it

Surely there must be a LB out there somewhere. Ridiculous that Izzy has never had a challenge since he signed. Probably one of the toughest positions to fill, tbf.

Could have went for the young left back at Hamilton on a pre contract and got him for nothing in the summer but West Ham have signed him instead.

I think your last sentence says it all, and we have known all about it over the years. We would do very well to get a better left back than Izaguirre in my opinion. The good thing is, he is seldom injured, barring the horrific injury up at Pittodrie, which was a freak injury to be fair, I can't recall him ever really being out.
