I saw the protests with jeanette findley speaking and I live in america so by all means it was well known to the celtic support. Haven't seen any in a while though. Just the stuff in the stadium that has been costing our club a fortune.

And sean, the GB have been spread all over the stadium so your claim that it was just normal punters (or prawn sandwhiches as you lot like to call them) is laughable.

Coppers are gonnae be *. Why does no one record this misstreatment and use it against them in court. If its that bad, you could possibly take it to court. Have the GB or anyone else tried getting a pettition ? I'm sure a lot of football fans would sign it. I don't agree with what's happening but I know that banners at a football ground aren't going to do anything democratically.

Well it certainly raises awareness and gets it in the news.

Whatever happens off the field, I stick by my club. Not the board but Celtic.

The board are just businessmen. I don't have to agree with them if I dont want to. In this case, certain fans have repeatedly misbehaved so they have been punished.

As for the police thing today though, I dont know how to take that. Perhaps they were expecting a backlash from fans. Which we didn't give, so maybe the next match the police presence will be less pronounced?

I've supported Celtic since birth and will do for the rest of my days.

These times will be forgotten as different boards, managers and players come and go.

But one thing will remain the same - The badge on our chest and what it means to be a Celtic supporter.

    That's all that really matters.

    Come on Celtic!

    At what point did i say i don't give a *.
Or are we now at the point where if you don't support what someone is doing 100% you are against them....??
I am against the law and how it * up fans life's but i would rather they went a route that did not bring fines to our club.

    That there in bold ^^^^
He isn't saying i'm alright Jack.

Take it to the MP's etc, march on holyrood & the sfa

Banners in the ground gets a bit of media attention, but
Marching/demonstrating regularly & with other fans in larger
numbers will change the MP's minds if they can see
a concerted effort has been made that might mean votes for them.

The club should be fighting it with the fans, the fact that they have turned their back on us has led to me not caring too much about a couple of fines. The club standing up against the bill with our fans would be so much more powerful than any march or protest but they won't. In my opinion the fans that have been on the receiving end of these * laws haven't been left with a great deal of choice.

Actually, he says he doesn't agree with the laws but then says he wishes those that were fighting against it would do it somewhere else. He obviously doesn't care enough to involve himself in fighting against laws he doesn't agree with. So yeah, it is a bit i'm alright Jack.

I said in the match thread that I think we are approaching a breaking point in the relationship between the fans and the board. There are divisions in the stands between fans, growing resentment towards the board and apathy towards the team. Something has to give at somepoint. The board have to address these issues soon or this could get out of control. They are the at the focal point of the club and need to engage in discussions with supporters.

There is an atmosphere development and it could get poisonous. Regardless of peoples views, we all want the best for the club and the club need to respect the fans. Stopping people from entering the stadium because of their clothing or telling them to stop singing is disgraceful. It's not how you create an atmosphere - that's how you alienate people. For the benefit of the club, something has to give. Otherwise, we're going to going to end up with an empty stadium.

The next few weeks will be decisive. It will either build up to something or it's going to blow over. Who knows?

With that line of thinking anyone not stood on the front line in any fight just don't care enough.
Im not in Scotland but im sure my bank wont mind a few missed payments so i can drive up and down to Glasgow for a few months.
i don't have the luxury of spending my money on what i want but it don't mean i care any less.

I know mate. The last week or so is the worst I've ever felt being a Celtic fan. Even worse than back in the 90's. At least then the vast majority of us were together.

For a board that are money orientated they are playing a very risky game, part of the stadium has been shut for domestic games and now they are risking losing a lot more fans next season me included that are sick of it and don't want to renew there season ticket.

I haven't felt this alienated from my club since the early 90's. The difference being then we were all in it together. We fought the club and we won.

Now people don't give a *. There are no rebels left to win anymore.
The club has abandoned the fans, but the fans didn't abandon the club when in it's darkest hour.
People are forgetting this. Pete Lawwell wouldn't have a * job with a £900k+ bonus if it wasn't for the people he is now trying to ostracise from Parkhead.

This is not about the Green Brigade solely. This is about our treatment as human * beings being treated like criminals. We do not sing sectarian songs. We do not rampage and destroy cities and stadiums. We do not discriminate, * salute or threaten people with death.
If you believe some of the nonces around here you would think we did.

The amount of total * who call themselves Celtic fans makes me ashamed to say i am one as well. * you. * your 'reputation'. Give me back my club.
