But if you believe the law is wrong, why should you just sit down and get on with it. This is a democracy we live in, the Government have refused to review the law because to them it's their way or not at all. So what's the next option - peaceful protest - which is what the GB and other supporters have been doing, no rioting, no deaths, no trouble, just displays and peaceful protest.

Being Irish and promoting Irishness offends some people and we should conform to make sure these people are not offended.

THIS. HAS. NOTHING. TO. DO. WITH. THE. THE. GB!!!!

The Gb have been disbanded, this was the "normal" fans who were targeted today.

    Jesus, it's * chess with a pigeon.

Our intention at the start of the season was to qualify and we did. We finished in our European group where our seeding had us. That doesn't make it any less frustrating but any other assessment is pure melodramatic bullshit.

If the GB didn't exist the Club wouldn't have been fined and Fir Park wouldn't have been smashed up. Don't kid yourself anything otherwise.

Obviously not. I've yet to see anyone who is a Celtic fan support those who smashed up seats. In fact, I've seen almost everyone universally condemn it. Thats not what we're talking about though. We're talking about banners and songs etc and today, unbelievably, scarfs.

Back to seat smashing? What happened today had nothing to do with what happened at Fir Park as all those fans 'responsible' have been suspended till further notice. What we seen today was to me far more concerning. Fans seeming being hassled by Stewards for simply singing and standing.

We were handed very easy ties and just about scraped through against two of the shittest teams I have ever watched in my life, great achievement that. So because we were seeded 4th its ok to finish the group rock bottom? The campaign was extremely disappointing, we had 1 good game and 1 average game out of 6. As a Celtic fan I'm not happy with that.

Yep. Yet that shower of * were allowed to march up to Hampden and protest, whilst a hundred man protest which is peacefully walking along the road ends up getting kettled.

Drop the patronising act, you're neither smart nor astute enough to carry it off.

We had a tough group which was made tougher by selling our 2 best players and not adequately replacing them.

Regardless of that fact, we outplayed Milan in Milan and beat Ajax. We also had chances against Barca before they finally scored.

It didn't turn out the way we wanted but that frustration shouldn't be allowed to manifest itself into bullshit evaluations and assessments of the squad and where we are headed.

Would marching in the streets with thousands and maybe tens of banners and maybe just maybe fans from other clubs mixed in and supporting the cause not have more impact.
Keeps the club out of trouble rightly or wrongly and would make more headlines than the ground banner did.
I don't think banners in the ground will make any headway and just increase our fines.
I don't support the law but i think there is a better way to show people our feelings.

Here we * go :smiley-laughing002: I don't see how this has nothing to do with the GB when we most likely wouldn't even be discussing this had they not been banned in the first place. Besides, I was responding to Skelleto's post which was referring to the Green Brigade and the Motherwell fiasco anyway.

By all means though, continue to fly off the handle.
