Celtics Financial strategy does not have a human dimension that its paying customers, can sign up to.

Put an average team out in poor league and hope that a league title can excite fans !!

The value they put upon being socially legitimate with external bodies is beyond fan participation, Now I'm not saying that we should allow songs about the IRA or anything, but the board are destroying the atmosphere, sit down and shut up!.

I took a gap year in Dortmund and Brossia actually gave free tickets out to the universities as they understand that the atmosphere is part of the match day experience for fans.

As always though when fans start kicking up a fuss, the board will put out a statement that they are looking into standing areas...(still waiting!!)

Good mentality. Dont worry about the previous 125 years culture. Lets just conform and accept our place as second class citizens in Scotland.

This is how I see it.
Regardless of the daft bill, we have been fined 4 times now in the last couple of years from UEFA and that is just ridiculous behaviour. On top of that we now have neds trashing stands, chucking flares, setting off fireworks, etc, etc. Of course there can be no way to resolve this other than these people stop doing this kind of stuff. Otherwise we simply get used to having stands closed in Europe, and letting fans run riot in away days in Scotland.

There can only be one winner in this sort of stand off between the "ultras" and the "board". And it is impossible that these ultra groups can possibly win anything.

Control themselves aye. Dont vandalise the stadium, light flares etc is fair enough.

But control themselves in a way that cripples the passion from the Celtic fans and Celtic Park?? Because thats the way things are going.

Can I ask what happened to another club (I'll give you a clue, they're quite new) when they were recorded filming sectarian songs with the ultimate political force and dancing around the stadium less than two short months ago?

At no time have I said I agree with it, Sean. I'm just stating what people will have to do if they wish to avoid trouble.

I've stated numerous times that I personally don't see any problem with Republican songs at Celtic Park, but I'm not the law, am I? If it was up to me * would be different.

CL campaign which was an utter embarrassment quite frankly, top of the league is where we SHOULD be, if we weren't at this stage Lenny wouldn't probably be here and "only cup that matters"? Again, this is a given and we should still be in the other cup because to me and a lot of other Celtic fans that matters too. Yea the last 2 games were good but best football you've ever watched in your life as a Celtic fan? Cmon man.

The last 4/5 weeks have been horrible for me

And before that? Two good performances in about 15 or so. The rest is pure bollocks to be honest. This isn't just about one section of our support, as shown today by fans in different areas of the ground being targeted by stewards and the police for having the sheer audacity to stand and sing. You keep making this a GB v everybody thing and you'll essentially be the oen making them more important than everybody else, which is apparently what you don't want to do.

This forum is terrible for over dramatics. I agree. But prepare to be hounded by all of the usual suspects who believe that every GB member is a saint who couldn't possibly do anything wrong.

I don't agree with the way the board have handled the situation and obviously stewards hassling people for simply singing (if it is in fact true) is out of order. But some people do love to over-dramatize and go way over the top.

Do we have a proud 125 year history of acting like feral neds and smashing stuff up?

Not to oppress anyone or condemn their culture, but I think all people are asking is that people behave themselves at a game of football. Misbehaving forces the club to take action. I really don't see what the argument is here.
