Ock * away off you roaster.

They have been victimised over singing songs which have been sung for decades.

Any gobshite can see they are being picked on,stopped at airports, stopped from joining fans on wednesday night in Barca and harrassed every 2nd week at parkhead........all for having a Republican leaning.

The GB have said they do not want the smokebombs and were not happy about the seats being broke.

Edit...........that was in reply to boodyboy

Not sure what is going to happen going forward. Lawell disbanding the green brigade section without carrying out extensive investigation and without holding discussion is an outrage. Even if you do not agree with the groups political views etc, it is still an attack on the fans by the Celtic board which in my opinion is downright unfair.

Even in my short time attending games (started around end of the Barnes reign) the punters at the game have changed dramatically. Back then there seemed there was a lot more passion. More people up for a sing song, in the ground with a drink and having a couple of *, shouting like * at any incident in the game. Nowadays fans more interested in petty squabbles in * cyberspace and condemning people for being too political bla bla bla. When did our support become so soft? I don't want to sit around people there to drink gallons of coke and post pictures on twitter while questioning someone's sanity if * forbid they try to start a sing song * that.

Going to a game used to be an escape for the working man, nowadays they are pressured to sit in silence and pay well over the odds for a product which does not correlate to the price paid. Will I renew next year? Probably not, not until the board starts showing the thousands of fans who have stuck by the club generation by generation the respect they deserve.

Are we falling apart ? Let's wrap the melodrama please. We are in great financial health and remain unbeaten in the league. Focus on what matters (the actual football on that green thing called grass).

What are Celtic ? A football club. Some can't seem to accept that on here. We're not a political organization and it is about time some on here came to terms with that. The people in charge of the FOOTBALL CLUB are delivering the same message. It is time to accept it.

Football tends to take a back seat when your dealing with constant repression simply going to a game...& have Focus and this legislation can see you doing 5 years for doing or saying something 'offensive'

FS Celtic songs targeted today, hardly melodramatic.

As said above, when did our support become so soft.

Folks today had season tickets removed, filmed constantly and ejected from the ground for singing CELTIC SONGS! Should they just accept it in all?

Our club has and always will have political connotations attached to it.

Like it or lump it, we were founded as a political statement. You either accept that or are we 'really a club like no other'?

The club need to do something, and fast. I am not a huge supporter of the Green Brigade for reasons I have talked about on here before, but what the club has done to them, and other innocent fans is ridiculous.

From here on out until the end of the season could be some dark times in Paradise if this isn't sorted. Between fans not wanting to spend their money to go to games, and the fans that are being disrespected and treated wrongfully like criminals, the attendances will stay a lot like they were against Hibs.

Five people were arrested for what happened away to Motherwell, yet 128 fans were banned from games. For what? there has yet to be a reason. Just to take them out of the equation, say the Green Brigade were banned for repeated warnings for songs, flares, smoke bombs, whatever. So why are other innocent fans been treated like dirt? What have they done to deserve that?

The board and the police currently have a lot to answer for, but most likely, we won't get any answers.

I know I said when did our support become so soft, although look at the amount of risks facing a supporter even on entering a stadium nowadays. I sit in 104, a stand which is mainly full of older supporters and a mixture of young families and older father and sons etc, at the Ac Milan game there were 4 police monitoring supporters for the whole 90 minutes. If u decided to take a drink of a can of lager or light a cigarette then I would presumably get a fine, which stays on your record.

Football fans have taken a battering over even the past few years say 4-5, with laws introduced by government. The board have been complicit in this to presumably seem socially responsible in the eyes of the media. Meaning they are basically betraying the fans (they have the ability to seek discussion over unfairness etc with the police and govt etc).

Who could blame fans not wanting to light smoke bombs or sing certain songs or even try create atmosphere when they could get a record shoved up there *. The most annoying thing is lawell not bothering to come out and talk to the fans or even hold discussion with supporters groups.

In a sentence, things are not looking bright for the future for the 'dinosaur' fans.

Why don't you go follow Man United? They are a much more successful FOOTBALL CLUB. Why not turn our strips red, Asia might invest more money in us and improve our team. Let's stop giving money to charities because, you know, we are a football club and not a charity.

Celtic is a football club, but it is a lot more as well. You must know that, or else you wouldn't support them.
