This. Really turned it up at a crucial time. One wonders how MON's career would've went if we'd failed to beat Ajax.

Apparently there was a story going about that when he was the Hibs manager, he told one of their out of shape players that he was how a pro footballer should look like. Don't know if it was true or not.

Anyway, here are some players I appreciated that maybe didn't get as much credit as others.

Tosh McKinlay - Did a good job for us and got plenty of assists for the likes of Pierre
Tommy Johnson - Was never going to get a game ahead of Henrik and Sutton but always seemed to have a good attitude
Stan Varga - Solid at the back and a goal threat
Barry Robson - 100% effort every game.

Just a few but I could mention a lot more.

When I was a kid in the 80's it was Andy Walker, he was outstanding the centenary season.

In the 90's it was John Collins, such a shame he never got the championship medal he deserved.

More recently it would have to be Henrik of course, but loved Sutton, Big John, Bobo, Petrov, Lenny, Thompson and McGeady.

Marc Crosas. Imo he could have a very important player for us but wasn't given enough chances. Absolutely loves the club as well

For me it's Joe Craig - I was just a young pup in the 70's but Joe was my hero. When I started going to see Celtic in the 80's it was Feed The Bear and in the 90's John Collins.

Anthony Stokes is shaping up to be one of my current favourites, to be honest. Only wish he could represent our national team, as well.
