agree with this.stokes can be a right greedy * at times, not doubting he is a good player but for me he is replaceable by a big mean, bullying BBJ style of player.would love big carew to partner hooper(or stokes when hoopers out).

on * surfaces anyway.then at home, with space, when we need pace and fast feet then stokes and hooper could play.

Folk rate him others don't. I myself think he is a lot better and far more rounded than he is given credit for.

Either way, to get shot of him would be absolutely criminal. He won't play every game next season but what he will do is guarantee you goals and plenty of them in the SPL. Which happens to be the league we need to win.

Criminally underrated player for whatever reasons. Scores goals for fun and provides most assists as well. a hooper - stokes strikeforce could be the deadliest thing since chuck norris.

If it's against club rules it's against club rules, nobody cares who he's pumping it's that he went against Lenny to do it basically.

    Hopefully he's learnt his listen.

:50: I know mate a think if it was a more popular player people wouldn't give a *. and I'm sure neil lennon's done similar things during his career. People listen to gossip and take it as the truth, when really noone knows what happens behind the scenes, hes a decent young player, people need to give him a break.

I think with his daft old man jibbering and stokes,s dislike for the huns, lenny didnt trust him not to get sent off he had a lot on his mid, this year will make or break him..has to keep training hard and ke a smile on the face, bit of a winge which spreads through teams like wildfire.

I like Stokes attitude you can tell him and Hooper are geniunely mates. I like that.

Even when he is on the bench when we score who do you guarentee to go absolutely balistic? Stokes more than any other player at the club, I love watching his reactions. He is 100% for the team so I have no worries about that, he has a bit of an indiscipline streak in him which he needs to grow out of very fast. I trust Neil Lennon to coax that or to kick it out of him.

On the pitch Stokes can be the creator or the poacher, he is comfortable playing on the shoulder of the defender or being the one that goes deep and links up the play. He has some absolute maverick moments (his goal against Hibs for one and a goal of the season against the Huns a few years back. That's not mentioning the moments of skill he pulls of where you think, * me I didn't think he had that in him.

He is a deadly finisher, I would trust him more in a one on one than any other player in the team (including Gary Hooper in that). His link up play is very good and he when he needs to he'll set up a teamate if they are in a better position than himself; that is a Larssonesque skill that a lot of the top strikers in the game lack.

He had the most assists last season, was the second top scorer in the team and this was wiith a lot of disruption and being played out of position for him.

Add that into the fact he is only 22 I think it's clear to see we have a player on our hands. Yes he does have his bad points, he has a bit of a wild streak that could get him sent off in a lot of games. If he misses a few chances he tends to get desperate but all in all his positives by far outweigh the negatives about his game.

Utter tripe. He had the highest assists of anyone in the team last season.
