    I wouldn't sell Stokes in a million years. People keep bringing this myth of a bad attitude up, and have no proof. Only source of it is * newspapers saying him and Lennon fell out before the final day of the season. The guy scored 15 SPL goals this season, and how ever many in the cup. Then you have Samaras who scored 3 SPL goals. It's a no brainer. Anybody who picks Samaras over Stokes is clearly an idiot, and Lennon * me off everytime he does it.

    I agree about his attitude problem being massively over-hyped. Especially considering the clamour for Bothroyd who has a shocking attitude on and off the pitch.

    Im with you on that Craigy bhoy.

    Lenny has came out and said he was on his last warning. At the end of the day maybe his off field antics arent great but its never affected his performances on the pitch.

    Samaras is just the opposite of Stokes - His antics off the pitch are good but on the pitch he's pish.

    Spot on mate. People see Stokes on the pitch moaning, and assume he has a * poor attitude etc. I rate Stokes very highly, he is right up there with Hooper. Selling Stokes and keeping Samaras and Murphy would be like selling Izzy and bringing back Lee Naylor or Mo Camara.

    Exactly mate. 2nd highest goal scorer, could have been top if he started more, and most assist, not bad for a "huffy greedy" player.

    When you see Stokes moaning its usually because he missed a shot or got caught offside,you never see him moaning to the team.

    Agreed.

    It was the biggest mistake Lennon made in last season's campaign IMO.
    We would have won the league if Stokes had played more games, especially
    the big games.

    When Stokes isnt playing well he moans and shouts etc, but when Hooper isnt playing well he just walks around looking disinterested.

    I'm not saying that makes Hooper any worse or Stokes any better, but it's good that Stokes shows passion on the pitch.

    Honestly I rate Stokes a bit higher over Hooper... He has more in his locker than just goals, and he has scored a LOT of goals for the amount of starts he's had...

    I really like Stokes, he's got a lot more to his game than scoring goals and proved that with all his assists. His attitude isn't as bad as some have made out on here either. He's passionate on the pitch and that comes across as moaning but I'm happy to have him here.
