Apart from tha almost mythical "attitude problem",which is always his doubters main argument,what other genuine reason can you have for not liking him?
I'm sick to death of this,"Sammy's more talented" nonsense.If Sammy is then why hasn't he,as a striker,been scoring goals?WHat?Because he's mince???YES.Stokes doesn't look like a headless chicken every time he gets the ball,and hasn't earned a contract on the basis he scored 2 goals against Rangers at Ibrox.THE SOLE REASON Sammy was even given one.Our top goal scorer has every right to be raging imo.I certainly would be,but those alleged comments were never even made...* media.Anyway,

He's our top goal-scorer and has racked up the assists as well, as has been said.

I wouldn't be happy if Stokes wasn't raging. The competition is healthy, every player who isn't seeing game time should be chomping at the bit and fighting for their place in the first-team.

I think it's quite clear what the press were up to that day. Let's ask a man in a pub who's had a few drinks - straight after an Old Firm game which Celtic have lost - what he thinks about his son not getting a game. * arseholes.

Stokes old man was unwise to make any comment at all to the press but the reporter(s) that put the question to him at that particular time knew exactly what they were doing.

 

I heard he changed his agent to the guy that represents McCourt and McGinn

 

Hopefully he starts tonight upfront with hooper, ideal game for them 2 to link up .

Stokes comes back into the team and - Hey presto! - the goals start flowing and Gary Hooper looks like his old self again.

I hope the penny finally drops now and we can stop * about with Samaras and just stick with Gary Hooper and Stokesy up front.

another goal and assist could of had more tbh, hooper looked himself again tonight, i dont think its a coincidence that stokes is back in the team and both are playing well and scoring, as i said before i think its there link up play is 1 of the main reasons the football is much better, were as samaras doesnt try to link up with hooper enough imo

Keep Sammy as super sub now, as he has done his part.

 

Stokes was fantastic tonight. His intelligent movement off the ball is so under-rated, his link up play was great and he's back on the score sheet already. I don't think he's received enough praise for the amount he's already contributed to Celtic this season, Stokes has been a fantastic signing.
