Anthony Stokes

The internet is full of it. the guy has been posting on here for a week, all about stokes. Who knows, his story may be true but where is his source? I could just as easy make up a story.

My source for what it's worth is from the horses mouth, I don't know any details beyond that except I know fine well the player and manager have had no personal falling out.

Inclined to agree with stuartw1888. There's no indication of a personal falling out, and plenty of indications that stokesy's commitment to 24-hour athetleticism has been a bit inconsistent

If it was my choice I think Hibs would be a better destination than getting involved in a relegation battle.

 

I'm no fan of stokes, although I'll admit he's a better option than those currently playing or sitting on the bench. Think he'd do well at Dundee Utd though but wouldn't surprise me to see him at hibs, as the poster above says, would be better than a relegation battle.

 

Remember you hounding us over not having proof about Stokes ?

He clearly needs games if he wants to salvage his Celtic career and return next season though. I'd rather he done that at Hibs, in a title fight with the huns.

I wonder how much fitter you have to be to do the defend as a team attack as a team ideology?
I know its all ifs and buts but i wonder if this could be the problem.
Maybe Stokes feels like he cant track back or maybe he doesn't have the fitness in him to do it.

 

Your aerobic fitness has to be very high to do it for 90 minutes both ways. Although I can't ever remember Stokes being a lazy player.

 

I can't see him doing anything to salvage his celtic career in the 6 months if his contract is up, we already know what he can do

 

Should be sending Cifty back to Dundee Utd.
