Not long after Anthony joined Celtic my youngest son was badly hurt in a hit and run traffic incident. I did not know Anthony at the time but he got to know the story I think it came from his fathers pub. Anthony contacted me out of the blue and asked if he could help, and help he did he got my son moved to a private hospital paid for all his medical bills. Not only did he provide financial support but he gave us a lot of his time and became a friend of all my family. My son will never fully recover but Anthony has made his life as comfortable as possible. When all the stories broke about Anthony been no good I contacted certain Dublin newspaper in Dublin they came to the house and took pictures and wanted to print the story, They contacted Anthony who refused permission to have the story published they still wanted to do the story but they listened to me and decided to keep it on hold. maybe the truth will come out someday. I also know he has put huge amounts of cash into the intercity especially local football teams . We have all been over to Celtic and treated as VIP's at Anthony's expense. So yes I am forever grateful to him and talk to him almost every week. I am very sorry that things have not worked out for him at Celtic and I know he really just wants to stay there and play. I also cant believe how some people can turn against him so quickly and believe total lies and rumors without ever knowing him. when my family was in need * sent him to us no matter what ever happens to Anthony or how his career finishes he will always be highly regarded with many people like myself.

My gut tells me that Anthony Stokes is being put into a position to see down his contract by loaning him out due to his ethnic and political representation as the Board have routinely reformed the protestation using revisionism as there presence in power as they conflict the Clubs creation (Tories) this is no coincidence.

The ignorance within our support is astonishing.

This will have to be the very last information I am willing to share as I am not sure I am helping Anthony or not, We were invited to a big game in Glasgow where Anthony said he was told he was playing , as it happened he did not even make the bench, it was around the time there was something in the paper without naming names the reason he was not playing is the sponger did not want him on the pitch as they were doing some sort of corporate affair. On the way home he was obliviously disappointed but I always remember he shouted out F... it, lets get some good rebel tunes on , great character.

Will be * to see him leave but I think that's what will happen, and I don't expect to see him in a Celtic shirt again under Delia.

He's never really been great on the European stage, but very few in the current side have if we're being honest. Griffiths has made the lone striker spot his own, but I think Stokes is still our best option on the left domestically.

Wonder what sponsor would try and dictate team selection?

Top man. I have always been in the Stokes camp. He has never ever let us down. I do have doubts that he is what we need for Europe but he is miles ahead of most of the jokers who start in front of him. Stokes probably sees what most of us can see that Deila just doesnt get the club. I feel awful that a good Celtic man like Stokes might leave our club through the back door instead of through the front with his head held high.

Managers and players clash and perhaps Tony could have kept it to himself but he cares about the club and I also get the impression Commons might be a bit iffy on Deila. But still as you say the most disappointing thing about this whole saga has been the apathy of most supporters and downright hostility shown to Stokes from others. He is living the dream but the football manager equivalent of Jar Jar Binks somehow finds himself managing our club and Stokes has the misfortune of having him as a gaffer. We badly miss Neil Lennon.
