To the ex sheep casual I didnt quote you directly. Conscious that I am always fighting between walking the tightrope of being banned and firefighting absurd points of view, i do my best not to be sucked into these time wastes. When Ronny Deila is mentioned in the same breath as Alex Ferguson I cant help but bite to that, like Tropic Thunder "Never go full....!"

Not when Mackay-Steven is playing well he isn't in my opinion. Granted we haven't seen that this season. All irrelevant really, because it's clearly not an issue about his ability, as he was a regular under Deila last season for the most part. It's fairy obvious it's not his ability that has seen him fall out the picture.

That's both him and Collins saying he should play at the highest level. Can't see him going to Hibs

Give it a rest. He clearly handled Stokes well before when he was playing week in week out, but there comes a point when a manager can only do so much. Stokes has clearly crossed the line somewhere. Even the best managers in the world cannot handle certain players. Stokes will be no great loss.

Surely you are not insinuating that the staff on here are actively looking to ban you are you ? I would imagine they will take a very dim view of that accusation :52:

I certainly don't believe that, as its obviously not the case.
They do a very tough job :50:

Mackay-Steven didn't outperform him last year either. Did he score more? Or set up more?

Did he play anywhere near the same number of games? He had a better goals to games ratio. I'm not sure on the assists. When he first come in, he was offering more than what Stokes was in my opinion. He has went right off the boil though, no question about that. Both players at the top of their game though, I know who I'd want playing wide left, and it wouldn't be Stokes.

I think he was much better on the right and looked lost on the left. You are right though, Stokes played more games, I was taking it from them coming in January and him hardly getting any gametime after that.

Regardless, I don't think GMS has ever outperformed Stokes throughout a full season.

Stokes did force his way into the managers plans last season, got fitter and adapted well to an unfamiliar position.

Everyone including the manager could see how hard he was trying along with Griffiths. I get the impression Ronny loves that type of player, a player who was flourishing under his regime..

Now whatever has happened since may never come out, but it's clear something has occurred between the two. And there's no going back, he has been frozen out.

It's not down to Ronny not seeing the value of Stokes or Irish Republican sympathies.. It's a simple break down between the boss and a player!

The Boss will inevitably win in these situations especially when the player is at fault, which surely must be the case.

Not sure there's no going back. Collins said he's trained well in the last few weeks, if he performs well on loan and keeps up the discipline I can see him coming back

I didnt say that at all but it is interesting to know that you think that. Is that what you discuss in your wee * in the city meetings about me behind closed doors in the GM section? I know some men would be glad to see the back of me, especially the mods because they have to deal with me defending my self against an ex Aberdeen football hooligan. Them men have no peace dealing with this bullshit between me and you. Now when you remove your tongue from their hole do them a favour and give my head peace.

When is his contract up? Would be really surprised if we see him in a Celtic shirt again under this regime.

    Summer 2017 :50:

I still have hope because I rate him, but it's clearly his last chance.

If that rumour is even true about Cummings and Stokes then it only means we get first refusal on a deal for Cummings, doesn't mean we will buy him for sure.

I don't rate him personally, average and a bit of a wee *. Don't see him being as good as Stokes at his peak.

    STOKES SET FOR LOAN
Anthony Stokes still has a Celtic future according to manager Ronny Deila - even though the Irishman is edging closer to a loan move.

"We think he will go on loan," Deila said ahead of Friday night's trip to Dundee United. "He has some options but together with Stokesy we haven't decided what is the right one yet.
"He is happy to go out on loan. He wants to get some games under his belt. It's important for everybody he finds himself, gets some good performances and can then perform for Celtic again.
"Does he still have a Celtic future? Yes, everybody has that."

So he really needs to go out and prove himself at Hibs or wherever he goes, hope he gets in the Ireland squad for Euros then comes back to stake a claim in the team.
