    Oh * up you :smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002::rolleyes:

Stokesy is in no way anywhere near the importance of a Larsson to this team, so why the * wouldn't the manager play one of his own signings over a guy who clearly isn't going to get a game in the one-up position?

    Stop being so obtuse.

    So?

We need a guy on the left, Stokes has played that position better than anyone else we have in the team just now.

Well too * bad, soggy *.

Stokes is acting the * at the club, and short-changing EVERY SINGLE Celtic fan who supports the club.

The quicker he's gone, the better.

No but we are being short changed when inferior players play ahead of him.

    No we're not.

Stokes is a striker, and Griffiths is the better of the two.

Stokes was a great foil for Hooper, he ain't capable of playing as a lone striker though. Would like to have seen him play up top with Griffiths but never going to happen now

He his the best option on the left at the club by miles. Nobody comes close.

But he's still largely ineffective out there. He is a striker first and foremost and should be backup to Griffiths, but he's not.

This is why a loan spell, where he'll no doubt get played up front, is a * move for him. It can allow him to rediscover that scoring touch which he's lost in the last year or two to an extent.

    More than debatable.

Armstrong came in last season and performed very very well, although is toiling this season.

Mackay-Steven can play there, and Forrest has shown he can be effective there too.

If Stokes WAS the only option there (in terms of ability and form), then he'd be playing - as said before though Stokes isn't out of the team long term because of injury or loss of form, it's because of himself.

Pity we've not got a manager who can sort that out, like it has been for the 4 years previous eh?

I don't rate him in lm either,(even though he had the most assists for us from that position ) it is almost as idiotic as playing Griffiths on the other side. A run in the team as a striker would help him find his scoring touch

Enough to get him to score 20 goals a season and set up the most anyway.

Two ways Stokes can frustrate the Celtic board and Deila.

    1. Refuse to go out on loan
    2. Get the Green Brigade to start a campaign and protest to get him reinstated in the team.
