Has anybody got any evidence that Stokes, if that is his real name, still exists and has not been kidnapped and vapourised by aliens

    Although some of us would debate the rights & wrongs of some of what he's done, in the past he's been guilty of;

*Being left out of the final game of the season by Lenny in 2011 for breaching discipline at the club's hotel.

*In December of 2012 he was spotted at the funeral of IRA member Alan Ryan. Lennon warned him against damaging the reputation of the club by attending events like this.

*He also * off Lennon due to his attitude during rehab for an ankle injury.

*In March 2013 he says in an interview that he "doesn't really care what the Celtic manager thinks of him personally"

*In June 2013 he was arrested for an alleged assault, for which he's due in court shortly.

*In February 2015 he returned late from a trip to Dublin and was left out of the side to face Inter.

*In November 2015 he has a sly dig at the manager on social media.

That's a bit better. Lenny said before, he is his own worst enemy.

Ronny said he's knuckled down though, his reward for that is being sent out on loan. The tweet may have crossed the line but it's a bit hypocritical, considering Griffiths done something similar and none of that even comes close to Commons in Molde.

Did he? The only thing I've seen Deila saying about him is that he could have a future, but that things need to improve.

I honestly think his stinking attitude to not playing and being frustrated that are causing him problems.

The ball is firmly in his court though by the looks of it. He can either screw the nut and make progress, or not.

Griffiths has shown that it's possible.

That may have been a John Collins quote? Yesterday or the day before. We also know he's been doing double training sessions because it's on his instagram and has been for quite a while.

Ronny also said it's discipline he lacks, not a lack of effort. So in all actuality, * knows the actual situation. All I know is we're missing him on the pitch just now.

Hopefully Collins did say that and he is knuckling down now. Perhaps the very real possibility that he could be out the door has shaken him into action?

I have no doubt if he screws the nut over the next few weeks he'll be in contention for a place.

1-I'd say Ronny has made up his mind for professional reasons.

2-A loan will benefit the player as he'll be playing.

3-Ronny is going nowhere at the moment.

4-In all honesty he is too unprofessional to be a regular internationalist and we shouldn't settle for it either.

5-Thanks for everthing but he's played is last game for us, a lot better players have moved on in recent years than Anthony Stokes.

6- Most Celtic fans have come to terms with this a long time ago and aren't really bothered one way or the other.

They've already confirmed he's going out the door mate. They've shut the door on him getting back in the team.

Which is definitely to our detriment.

Well, that's unfortunate but we can't have guys playing in the team who aren't professional off it, can we? After all, we dumped the likes of Tony Watt for similar reasons.

Except, as Collins and Deila have both said, it doesn't seem to be his professionalism that's the problem.

Good point about Tony Watt though - Stokes may be beyond redemption as well, historically he never has been though. Would be strange for him just to decide to at 27.
