    IMO anything around £1.2m would be acceptable for him!

    As I said a few days ago i think the following could easily follow him out the door:

    Boerrigter (sold, loan, released, anything)
    McGeough (sold,loan)
    McGregor (sold,Loan)
    Irvine (released)
    Scepovic (sold,Loan)
    Henderson (loan)

    and i still expect another 2/3 in if they go and we make CL group stages :50:

    I've always been a harsh critic of him and don't particularly rate him, but at the same time there is far worse than him that should be going.

    It's also sad in the way that he is one of us and it's good to have those guys around the team.

    No matter how much I criticise his European performances for us and have wanted him sold for ages, I hope he does well elsewhere. I really want him to give it a go abroad. It'd be a shame if he just settles for the English Championship. He fancies himself on the ball as a skillful player, go to a league where that may be able to flourish.

    At least it's becoming a bit more common on players from Scotland-

    O'Dea went to Ukraine, McGeady went to Russia, Watt went to Belgium, Henderson went on loan to Norway, Sheridan went to Bulgaria and Cyprus.

    Bar McGeady, Stokes is the most technical of those players, so he really should give it a go.
