Your blind loyalty to a player that clearly isnt good enough for this Celtic side is hilarious.

But then again you are McClueless

One of many who needs to be moved on pronto if we are to improve as a club. (By that I mean in Europe)

A decent striker last year would have scored a few against Maribor but the useless Stokes couldn't muster one.

I know i am making it out hes worse than he is but he definitely not a winger or a lone striker .
Everybody knows his best position is as a second striker,i would like to see him tried in the CAM role in games where we are dominant?

Not sure he's got the discipline for it, he drifts wide left wherever he's playing. Just seems to be natural for him to do so.

I doubt very much that he will be a regular starter next season but he is a great squad player to call upon.

If he is happy to stay then I am happy to have him here fighting for a place.

You could just as easily say a decent team would have been able to create chances against Maribor? We created * all.

We had enough chances in the away game to win. I seem to remember Stokes having a couple, both which he out wide if I remember correctly.

I was thinking of the home game specifically but even in the away game we didn't create that much. I remember one of those Stokes chances, wasnt an easy one.

That still doesn't take away the fact that we had enough chances away in Maribor to win, but failed to convert them. It was farcical that we went into such important games with Stokes as our lone striker anyway.

I does if you're using it as a measuring stick on players just now. Johansen was awful at that point in the season and stopped a certain goal in the away game, probably the worst moment of our season that, now he's probably player of the year.

As I said, that still doesn't mean we didn't have enough chances to win away in Maribor. We actually didn't play all that bad that night.

True, I wouldn't use it as the barometer of how our players can perform though.

I'm not. Everyone knows we are a completely different team now, but we still could have won that night, had we converted our chances.

Another shocker of a game. He's not good enough, no matter where he plays.
