This is getting more than a bit confusing here, my mate got a txt during the first half saying he signed for us, now am hearing he's going to Charlton? Is anything anyone's heard actually SOLID or has there been if's and but's thrown in?

 

i also heard it on Clyde 1

 

According to Clyde FM Stokes has just left for Charlton who are getting beat in FA Cup today and are certs for relegation!! If this is true and he supposedly supports Celtic then he is a greedy wee git!

here it is he is in glasgow now by bbc and not in london so he can't be signing for chalton dum stop spreading this fake stuff he is in glasgow the now talking with celtic.

Yeah the guys on the radio are saying he's off to Charlton, but i don't know where it's coming from. If they're saying it they must have heard something from someone at the club that he knocked back the offer.

Im not counting my chickens yet, there's been more twists and turns than the spaghetti junction in the last few days, official statements are what im waiting for.

 

I am right I was right a month before JVOH came and that happed but he is going to sign for us unless talks don't work out

Celtic are reported to have agreed terms with Arsenal's 18-year-old Irish striker Anthony Stokes following talks at Celtic Park this afternoon.

Sources at the club suggest that the player, who netted 14 goals in 16 league games for Falkirk this season, will sign on the dotted line at 5.00pm this evening.

However, there are conflicting reports which suggest that Stokes has indeed said "no" to Celtic and will sign for Charlton as he wants to remain in the Premiership.

The BBC reports that Celtic have ofered an initial £1 million for the player. That price could increase substantially depending on appearances, it says.

Charlton Athletic and Sunderland have also agreed a fee for the player
