    Would be a fantastic signing. In fact, we should pay more than 1m if needs be, cause the kid is clearly an incredible goal scorer and a tim to boot.

    arsenal aren't willing to sell him that is why he is on loan to get experience and be back at the gooners nxt season, a more likely outcome is stokes stayin at falkirk til end of season

    you never know. If we put an offer in and Stokes puts in a request to leave it'll be difficult for them to turn us down. It's not like he's French afterall... I doubt they're so desperate to keep him.

    Well I would be surprised if Arsenal let him go. But certainly Stokes just keeps on scoring and at only 18 looks quite a prospect. If we could get him for 1 million that would be great business.

    the man is a legend he will suceed anywhere he goes he is a born winner, although i disagree with his choice of clubs i wish henrik the best in what ever he does, all the best mate, give'em *!

    Celtic's chief scout Ray Clarke has confirmed the club could attempt to sign Falkirk's star striker Anthony Stokes.

    The 18-year-old, who is currently on-loan from Arsenal, has caught the attention of many clubs so far this season.

    Clarke said: "We said we would watch Anthony Stokes on four or five occasions and then make our decision. To be fair to the lad, we've just about done that and my understanding is we'll maybe have one more good look at him in action."

    Stokes scored during the Bairns' CIS Insurance Cup win at Parkhead, and he played for Ireland during their recent B-international against Scotland. He has scored 13 goals in 13 appearances this season.

    Other clubs thought to be interested in securing his services include Roy Keane's Sunderland. Stokes has previously indicated he would love to succeed in the English Premiership, but he would not be able to develop sufficiently if he remained in Arsenal's reserves.

    Falkirk are still hoping Stokes will remain at the club for the rest of the season, as the Bairns look to move up the league and reach the final of the CIS Insurance Cup.
