he is getting held back playing for sunderland, he could have became the top striker on celtic, and proven himself in the final 16. Bad move. Roy Keane probably sweet talked him onto the team, they have little chance to moving to the Priemeir league and if they did it would be short lasted.

 

I dont believe he'll be held back at Sunderland for one second. He's 18 is still learning and he'll be playing with alot of Irish Internationals and two Irish greats are running the show. He'll get more minutes on the field there than he would at Celtic.

 

wouldnt have minded him gd player but i dont think he will be held back at sunderland either roy is getting good players is pearo away to them???

Your right, and funnily enough what he done was basically expand on the exact points i made on here on the few days leading up to that article. The guy's got a brain in his head

I just read an extremely interesting article on Celtic and how it was the clubs fault for scaring Stokes away. It was in the Irish Evening Hearld and gives some strange insights from the stokes deal. Also it talks about how Celtic is losing its connections with the irish people and young players in ireland and about Peter Lawell. I taught it was disgraceful and feel its completely untrue but an interesting read. I cant find any links to it though.

 

Roy Keane said it was clubs that tried to pressure him into a signature who lost the battle for him, he didnt rush stokes and stoke was most comfortable with the Sunderland talks.
