Anthony Ralston

Absolutely goes to bits when he finds himself in good attacking situations. Had the one he John Smith'd over the bar being the prime example. Normally, its his final ball or cross into the box. Aside from the assist in the friendly the other day, he doesn't have or hasn't shown enough for me.

Might be a good guy and that, but he like a few others are well below the level we need.

 

Shows how much we have stagnated as a club holding on to utter dross like this, mind boggling levels of negligence.

 

Ultimately it's not even much of a favour we're doing for him, if we'd released him years ago he'd at least be seen as a young player who came through the Celtic academy. That's surely enough for someone to sign him. After this season if we release him he'll be a 23 year old that everybody and their mother knows can't play football.

 

How is he even playing professional football at any level never mind at Celtic for so long

That might be true if Celtic where easily (over the last 3 years) able to replace him.

Speaks volumes for Celtics development and recruitment they can't.

He's obviously not our answer at European level but the issue is he can likely do a job in the SPL.

 

Mind boggling how he is a professional football player, incredible actually.

 

Can't even slag the boy any more.

He's made it more than clear he isn't at and never will be at our level.....yet we renewed his contract out of desperation because of our failure to recruit.

He looks like he tries, and I feel bad for him in that sense, but he is just a bad player, at 23 he should b established to a degree but he looks like that boy in PE at school who never played football so when the ball comes to them they just kick their foot out.

 

Unbelievable that here we are, heading into a crunch game and we are saddle with Ralston.

 

Some people just get lucky in life. 23, can't kick a ball and has played champions league games, played for his boyhood club and lived the dream. Impressive

Mental he’s getting slated tonight, Sisto is by far there best player and he kept him out of it all night. Good link up with Abada.

Problem comes again with both full backs when we go to a diamond and they need to run both wings themselves.

He honestly might be the worst player I've ever seen in a Celtic shirt. He's just awful at every aspect of the game.

Can't defend. Can't run with the ball. Can't make basic passes. Can't cross.

Stinking footballer who should be nowhere near the Scottish Premiership, never mind Celtic.

 

Other than the shocking tackle at the start he had a good game. First half got forward more. Would like to have seen him continue that into the second half. Defensively only second to Welsh who was MOTM for me.

Some people have just made up their mind and not really watching.
