That will come with confidence and game time, has the pace and power to do it just work on his technical side.

Not a bad thing either to have a more defence minded right back since Tierney bombs on so much, like Lustig except Ralston actully has the pace and strength.

As many other posters said he just needs to take his on ball ability to an upper level, body is there.

Truth to be told I was far more impressed with him on the left, he was constantly charging down the left side, a lot more than the right, I guess he got confidence during match.

He may well have been playing to instructions. He might have been told to shackle McGeady, which he did well, but it hindered him going forward. No such restrictions when he switched sides. That was my thinking when I was watching the match anyway as he didn't really try to get forward too much early on.

Thought he had an excellent game, hopefully he can replace Lustig over the next year or so.
He didn't let McGeady get a sniff all game.

Seems to have that same determination as KT. If he can replicate KT's rise then we've won a watch.

That'll do him the world of good, has been in his shell on previous performances. Every single person you hear talk about him says he'd run through a brick wall for his team.

Great performance, one goal one assist. Tierneys great performance aside, he would have been my MOTM.

    Outstanding tonight.

An absolute machine who seems to be getting more and more confident. Really hope he kicks on and challenges Lustig this season.

Was brilliant, would like to see him start the game away to partick, no risk and he deserves more gametime after that.

Immense tonight, put me in mind of watching a young Danny McGrain (videos, I ain't that * old!).

To have KT on one side, Ralston as the natural successor to Lustig on the right, or even either side of a back 3 is just * glorious!

Been impressed every time I've seen him. Know Killie didn't offer much of anything going forward but he made some excellent interceptions/tackles when he needed to, never mind the goal and assist. :notworthy

By far the best I've seen him play.

Said it before but the thought of having him and Tierney being our first choice full backs is Randy Marsh stuff.
