Honestly if he was playing for the * over Ibrox way he'd be labelled as a hammer thrower, lump of wood etc.
Putting the Hoops on doesn't make a * player good.

    Celtic jerseys don't shrink etc.

He did well enough last night, but I wouldn’t be comfortable with him at right-back for the rest of the season if Lustig were to get injured.

Loan him out for a season and a half, let him get regular game time, and then see where he’s at.

Didn't really get how so many fans thought he was decent the last time he was in the team....I personally didn't think he did very well back then but credit where it's due......I though he looked a more rounded player last night, taking his goal very calmly and I look forward to him turning in more performances like that.....still not convinced about him but I'll be happy to be proved wrong in time.

Well done to the lad for last night though for sure.

Definitely good enough to be a rotational right back for us domestically that plays in cup games, but I sincerely hope we sign an actual proven right back for our Europa League campaign and for Europe in general going forward into next season.

I feel too many on forums expect instant success from younger players breaking through, and are very quick to write players off before they have properly settled in.

I felt Calmac, Forest and Christie all had something worth waiting for, long before they became fully established (Still surprised at RC as a CDM though!) and I hope Ralston will have similar journey.

I certainly feel he's done enough to be considered regularly for weaker domestic opponents, wether he kicks on and gets bigger domestic games such as later rounds in cups, top 3 games in league and European nights will be the real test.

But when you look at the first team squad and see KT, Forest, Calmac and Johnston now consistently selected, there's no reason to believe AR won't soon join them.

Has all the attributes to do well and I really hope he does as I'd rather have the biggest majority of our team from the academy ,however he does look like he has a nervousness about his play at times and could fold with high pressure ,he needs time to develop and given a chance ,maybe it could be the answer when lustig hangs up his boots .

Can't remember a time where he was particularly bad for us, games where's he's been poor the whole team were poor and he's had a few games where he's been one of the best players on the park

If we were capable of playing a 3-5-2, he looked, from the Motherwell game, as if he would fit into that system. After watching us getting humped off Hibs playing 3 at the back though, it gives me the fear.

    Quality quality performance..

Could've had 2 goals second half..

His composure is underrated and technical ability. Pretty decent..

    Deserves to start midweek 100%..

Great game today. Showed more than he did midweek. Unlucky not to score a goal or two as well.

    Thought he was excellent again.

Needs to be given a run.

    His engine is insane.

MOTM I thought, probably the best domestic performance from a right-back in a long long time. Constantly pushing into midfield, down the wings creating openings and space, untested defensively apart from that one time he flicked it over the guys head, brought it down and slipped it to Forrest.

Constant goal threat as well, positioning and runs were superb and unlucky not to get a goal or two, well stuck shots and that header he should have buried.

He was excellent today. Maybe wrote him off too soon. Has a great engine on him and was really unlucky to not score

as well who I thought was very good. He’s back to where I want him to be. He wasn’t at that level because of his injury. He defended really strong and is a hard guy to get past.
