Agree with Zander .Still think he got a rough deal with the criticsm after the goal in Germany for Scotland .Keeper saw everything should have shouted and had a long time to watch it go in.Keepers fault all the way .Like to see more of Tony next year .

Was mentioned the other day. He wasn't in squad for either cup final in 2018 and his 1st 3 seasons he played less than 5 games in each season. So probably not really counted either.

He will for sure relish this opportunity tomorrow so hopefully he backs that up with a really quality performance.

 

One of the best things that he’ll be playing tomorrow for me is that a big tactic for them has been crosses into the back post, I trust Ralston to get on the end of them out of most * on the team.

 

I really like ralston, theres a weird narrative that hes not as attacking as johnston but ralston is probably more consistent at overlapping and getting to the byline. Its probably pretty simmilar statistics. ralstons long balls are defintely an improvement on aj's, aj is ver reluctant to try a ball over the top and I really wouldnt be surprised if ralston gets an assist today

 

AJ does a lot of both overlapping and underlapping runs whereas I think Ralston mostly sticks to the outside which might skew perception cos people might have an older school of thought about full backs. Imo they are about the same in an attacking sense, but AJ mixes his movement up more.

 

Johnston has been a happy revelation, practically from his first game for us, especially in the more difficult European games BUT, in recent hun games, home, away and Hampden Johnston has just not been up to the task.

I'd happily play Ralston, no fears and if he's in the starting lineup when teams are announced an hour before kickoff, I'll be driving to the bookies to put a tenner in Ralston to score, 'at any time', aye Ralstons gritt in the tackle and his, 'they shall not pass', attitude to defence is just what we need today.

and Ralston scoring our third will pay for the beers today, probably hahahaha

 

I don't think him and Forrest linked up well at all tbh. Was really poor.

 

Looked like an average player who hadn't played much. Always gives his all and good pressing in the last minute.
But he's just very limited

 

They didn't but did look like Rodgers told him to sit back more. More game time would help.

 

Wasn't great but hasn't been playing much so excusable.
