Does the job. That's him and he is a good back up to have.

I thought his lack of connection/understanding with Kuhn on that side blunted our attack even more, although that’s to be expected tbf as he’s barely played all season.

With that in mind he did ok, even if he does have the first touch of a rhinoceros at times. And that cross he skied after getting into a great position on the overlap was so bad that it would have made Maeda blush.

His booking was the highlight of the game for me.

Will go unnoticed but they were in if he didn’t cover the midfield at the time.

I thought he done great, I think the link between Ralston and Kuhn/Forrest was missing but he's a dependable back-up.

There is a level of difference between Johnston and Ralston but Ralston is more than happy to be back-up, more than good enough domestically and counts toward the home-grown quarter, I'd like a RB to challenge Johnston a bit more but you can't really bemoan us happily having Ralston as our back-up, no doubt Rodgers is more than happy with Ralston too.

Happy with Ralston as back up. Another good Celtic man. Solid, dependable, never complains, just like Scales.
We can now afford to look at some other priority areas of the team in January to beef up.

Thought he did really well. Saved Engels at one point and was decent down the wing.

He'll be a great manager one day IMO. Reads the game amazingly well and can spot a pass too. Also has obvious physical and technical flaws. Showed both the good and the bad today.

He’ll never leave anything on the park and that’s to be admired but the drop off in quality when he does have to come on is frightening. Defensively he’s actually quite poor and for a big physical guy he gets done in the air so often.

He was very poor for their second goal. He needs to realise to pick up the danger man and not worry about the player 20yrds out wide behind him. That was his area all day long for that cross. He surely must read the situation much better.

That was what I saw. Seemed so much more determined to actually get up the ball up the wing.

Hopefully he can gain a bit of confidence with that penalty conversion and set up the goal, he was a bit of a liability a times with his passing Left it a couple times as well when Thought he should have been picking it up.

When he comes on, I understand why he disnae start. Powers up the pitch and brings a lot of energy, but by * does he not send a lot of passes/crosses to absolutely nowhere. Good player to force the ball past midfield when your opponents are tiring, not consistent enough to want to start him while you're trying to build your passing game.

Played a big part in Kühn's goal..

    Strong and dependable..

Don't blame him for the goal, it was an excellent delivery.

    He was alright.

Personally I think we should look for better to challenge Johnston. And prepare for Johnston leaving which could happen next summer.
