    He’s the perfect back up right back for us, he’s more than capable of producing when called upon.

    Thought he did well when he came on but not surprised in the slightest.

    He did okay - good crunching tackle at one point.

    Really needs to stop standing off his opposition winger though, always gives them too much space to get a cross in.

    Will never be on the ‘to-sell’ list for me. Even if, in time, due to a change in system or whatever, we might get a third RB in, you always want competitors like Tony at a club. He’s also versatile and could easily play RCB or DM if asked.

    Tenchically, he isn’t amazing at anything, but is also just generally solid in almost every area of the game and doesn’t have any concerning weaknesses. There’s a lot to be said for that.

    He does seem to stand well of but rarely gets skinned.
    Loved that clip of him going down the tunnel yesterday.
    I have always been a fan, perfect for back up, homegrown for CL also helps.

    Some managers would not care about that, and would recognize his tenacity, strength and a decent long pass. DM is a viable position. In any case, we won't get a better deputy RB than him for quite some time, depending on McPherson's progress.

    He does read things extremely well both defensively and offensively, he's got a real brain on him, which means he shines in the kind of situation we were in in that second half; just a pity he has quite poor speed and technique and is pretty mediocre in strength, height and tackling.
