It wasn't understandable. the reason was Galatasaray hasn't too much young players to complete whole the match hence you have to put some major players we don't play with all the time young players in a season but almost totaly with major players so it's important to see union between young and major players...

Besides it was just a friendly match. i guess all of you Greens enjoyed 'cause the match was very good.

read carefully what i wrote over and over. i don't refuse that we have young players. i mean our young players aren't ready and conditioned to play entire match. average players age of Galatasaray is high and it's a problem. you saw, our new young player Emre Can Coşkun just played 34 mins. you got it what i mean ? :bbpd:

I see. Surely tournaments like this are perfect for the young Galatasary players to get their chances?

Forget the result here,course we would have liked the win but everything else was majorly encouraging in my eyes..
We still have loads of room for improvement but tonight restored the faith and any doubt I had vanished when I saw those young kids fighting for everyball and the talent on show aswell as the impressive new signings aswell..

Seeing fraser back in action,little rusty which is natural but came through it well,apart from Herron who was well out of position and it showed at times although he stuck to it well and never have up bit the other 3 in the backline put in a real shift..
We had a centre mid playing right back,a right back playing left,a centre back just back from a terrible injury and year out almost and another youngster making his debut..
Henderson was probably the pick of the bunch,I really like this kid,works hard,box to box,bit of dig,sometimes too much tonight but he was always there and never put a foot wrong,real talent..

Big bobo was a handful,controlling the ball out the air,a nuisance all game and was unlucky not to score when clean through,albeit a great save,some penalty but..
Pukki,possibly his best game so far and should has probably had one tonight but was always involved and trying..
Big derk was a lot better,beating his man and putting dangerous balls in the box..
Same with Forrest,poor penalty I thought height wise though..
Biton very good,still needs to be careful as he wants too much time on the ball but e was calm tonight and played some lovely stuff,his audacious chip would have been a belter and not far off..

Great to see young miller getting a run out so early,big things expected..

All in all a worthwhile trip and something all of those who played tonight will gain confidence from..

We just couldn't get that final pass,players not on the same wave length as it was a new 11,bit more luck and conviction and we'd have scored..
When we were quick on the counter we were devastating at times whether it was a long ball over the top or Forrest or someone running with the ball an drawing spaces,again the right choices didn't happen often enough..

Don't tell me we don't have good kids coming through..
And I'm not having the new boys are duds either..

For our Turkish friend:you didn't take it serious,no? Is that why you brought on all your available big guns and went all out from half time?
I suspect if you were winning those boys would have been bench warming for the whole 90..

Of course. In generally, our young players aren't behaviour themselves, don't know what they can do and can't do.

Practice programs are far from enough to be completely fit.

Not only depends on program but practice extra and extra.
The problem is not about to be skilled but bring it out with proper work condition and mentality.

Hopefully Balde get's a run in the team now. I know he's not the best footballer we've ever seen, but he's played well in this tournament and if you couple that with the fact that the regular strikers aren't scoring regularly, it surely deserves a run in the starting 11.

Good experience for the young lads as well and hopefully we will see some of them in the first team and getting some game time in the near future. Henderson was like a terrier around Sneijder tonight, didn't give him time on the ball and Sneijder wasn't enjoying it.

I agree it just makes those concerned look like sore losers. Everyone was commenting on how good the atmosphere was, then they win and a minority start talking like theyve lost a game of fives in primary school lol.

 Just sums up the pathetic mindset of some of our fans when it comes to atmosphere. It was great from start to finish last night and hard to believe that the stadium held only 7,000 or so. Puts us to shame when such a small number created a better atmosphere in a friendly than we'll see in any Celtic domestic game this season. I’d imagine that most of the Galatasary fans were local supporters who don’t often get the chance to see them in action.

It would be an absolute dream to play a Turkish team in the CL.
