Pukki better carry this form into the league games now. He's been brilliant over these two friendlies but it counts for * all if he doesn't kick on from it and do it when it matters.

If it had been the same format as the Wembley Cup, we'd have won it. :54:

I liked this tournament and it was a welcome break from league games. Would be keen to do a similar thing every year even if we make the last 16 as it is nicely competitive and gives us a chance to see some of our developing talent.

On another note I have liked seeing us use a 4-2-3-1 formation in both games. I've been banging this drum a bit, that whilst tactical flexibility is important, Lennon does not seem to have any preferred formation that suits the team. I feel this shape is as good as any because it can be very attacking and fluid yet gives a solid base for more difficult games. This would mean that we could change tactics and personnel as a game demands but each player knows the system, as well as what is expected of them in each position.

It obviously didn't matter that much to us otherwise we wouldn't have sent most of our first team away on holiday.

herron is a midfielder who was playing right back so I wouldn't judge him too harshly.

They looked like they were all over us or was it dodgy editing?

Second half they were, first half was pretty even.

Although it was understandable in the second half when they brought on Sjnieder, Melo, Yilmaz etc... and we were bringing on 16 year olds and various other youngsters to go with the 5 that started the game.

How did big Marcus Fraser play? Good to see him back after that horrible injury.

Have the game on V+, going to watch it tomorrow.

Hopefully the likes of Henderson have done enough to deserve some decent game time.

Some penalty and it certainly shows confidence so hopefully he will get a good run in the league.

it isn't dodgy editing :icon_mrgreen: actually 1st half was even but when we put some class players into the match like Melo, Selçuk, Sneijder 2nd half was turned us.

It wasn't understandable. the reason was Galatasaray hasn't too much young players to complete whole the match hence you have to put some major players :86: we don't play with all the time young players in a season but almost totaly with major players so it's important to see union between young and major players...

Besides it was just a friendly match. i guess all of you Greens enjoyed 'cause the match was very good.
