    Would like to sign Paddy on a perm but realistically if you did you would probably get 2 years max out him.

    So I think if anything a 1 year loan again would be beneficial all round in terms of the board and finances but fans want a perm deal!

    Board probably don't want to sanction it without a clear indication of where we are playing European wise this season! They make a loss in the accounts they have to defer bonuses!

    Our operating costs have apparently gone up according to some even though we have shifted around £80k a week off wage bill.

    NICE have pulled out of the race to sign former Celtic loan star Patrick Roberts, according to reports.

    SunSport exclusively revealed in June that the French side were interested in landing the Manchester City winger this summer.

    And it looked like the Hoops had suffered a blow to their hopes of bringing Roberts back after it was reported that Nice wanted to sign him on loan today.

    But according to French football expert Robin Bairner, the French club’s capture of Monaco star Allan Saint-Maximin means they are no longer interested in Roberts.

    The news is sure to please Celtic fans who have been desperate for the Englishman to return to Parkhead.

    However, it remains to be seen if the Hoops make another move for Roberts or whether the City star will choose to remain at the Etihad.

    Aye Ntcham was a good bit of layout but we signed Hayes off last years accounts and Benyu wouldn't have been much plus we have brought in a wee bit of dough from Janko and Izzy departures plus 53,000 ST sold just a case of wait and see especially if operating costs have risen as a few have said
