This passage of words and random commas is a damning indictment of the British education system.

I honestly don’t know how some people get through the day.

I’ll give you a bit of advice then since you’re evidently not the brightest.

You’re meant to come on and give a few compliments, and try and blend in before exposing yourself as someone who drinks down the lodge.

It read to me like he was being deliberately facetious rather than really putting down Ange. I think the "player purchases" and "doesn't seem interested" parts kind of give it away.

With a 100 per cent start to the season, there was only ever going to be one winner for the Scottish Premiership Glen’s Manager of the Month for August.

Ange Postecoglou was the man to scoop the award once again, following five wins for the Hoops at the start of the league season, with the team scoring 21 goals and only conceding one.

It’s the sixth time the Celtic manager has picked up the award, having won it for four consecutive months from January last season, as he led the team on to an incredible unbeaten run to reclaim the Scottish Premiership title.

Speaking today, Ange Postecoglou said: “It’s pleasing to receive this award again which, as ever, is received by us all as a wider team and recognises the collective efforts of the players and my backroom team.

'We’ve worked hard in the early part of the season, delivering some excellent performances and really positive results, but we know we will need to maintain these really high levels to achieve what we want.'

“I would also like to thank our fans who, as ever, have been magnificent once again all month in supporting us.”

Colin Matthews, CEO of Glen’s owner the Loch Lomond Group, said: “This is shaping up to be another tremendous season in the Scottish Premiership and Celtic have posted an early warning to their rivals that they are determined to hold on to their Premiership title.

“Sunday’s outstanding performance against Dundee United, where they recorded their largest ever away victory in the league, capped a superb start to the season for Ange Postecoglou and his team, and our voting panel was clear that the award had to go Celtic’s way.

“With some outstanding Champions League fixtures to come over the next few months, the Celtic fans have really invested in the football their side are currently delivering under Ange Postecoglou and with a huge match to come against main title challengers, Rangers at the weekend, they could not have hoped for a better start to the season.”
