Aye, much more street wise and something you see the huns do regularly against us.

Delighted the shoe is on the other foot. They got wound up by it, too.

    Delicious

Aye that was good to see..

Also the fact he's learned from his visits to the likes of Tynecastle, Livi, the Huns etc

Doesn't seem to make the same mistakes twice..

Got this league sussed a fair bit and certainly has the hun dwarfs..

Even yesterday a lot of talk was could we withstand their crosses/set pieces....we answered that emphatically. No only that but we showed something that's been obvious all season and that's how open and pish they are from set pieces as well. Scored the winner from ours and lost count how many time's we got in clean through behind them

    Taylor
    Maeda (twice)
    Abada
Jota on half time but messed it up in the end with Bassey

That's just off my head where we were clean through beyond their last defender/on goal..

We're much much better than them defensively and have much more going forward....and it's all down to Ange..

Look at our subs. Bitton. O'Riley, then get gets injured and on comes Turnbull. Ralston. Abada..

Their's were Arfield and Sakala i think. Lol..

That depth has swung right around considering we had no real first team or depth in the summer. The 5 sub rule has been a blessing for us with the array of talent we now have..

Man, you can probably tell I'm still buzzing but yesterday again hammered home that we have a proper coach and they have a bit of a clueless one. Long may it continue..

Slippy left because he knew the writing was on the wall. Sure it was an EPL gig, but any thoughts of staying to win a few in a row then sliding in to replace Klopp evaporated when he saw that he was lucky to win the first derby. His resume was going to be * when he didn’t win any trophies against the unknown Aussie.

Gio walked into a death seat and won’t last out next season. Next year’s implosion across town is going to be something else.

Odsonne Edouard sold at the start of the season for 16mil.
    Ange has recruited
    Kyogo 4mil
    Abada 3mil
    Jota Loan (6mil)
    Giakoumakis 2mil
    Maeda 1mil
Able to rebuld a whole attacking line up from the sale of one player.
Man has performed miracles. Ange Houdini!

Absolutely! The idea of Ange having a champions league transfer kitty and only needing to strengthen in 2-3 key areas with his transfer record thus far is a truly beautiful thought.

Absolutely astonishing job he has done. Not only turning a 6 point deficit into a 6 point advantage whilst having to rebuild the team, but actually went on this great run in the middle of a crippling injury crisis where B players had to come in regularly and do a job for us. As I say, astonishing....

Ange actually had Eddy for a fair few games, and he was bang average. Those replacements have been at least 25x as good (on this seasons performances)

Normally calm and collected but he couldn't hold that one back.

PS. on a side note, I swear Baine is just a professional GK more then happy to be second or third choice just to get front row seats like this and soak up the hun tears :giggle1:

His character is shining through the players on the park, we stayed composed and resolute going down a goal so early but didn’t panic and played our way back into the game using the principles he’s instilling in the side.

We basically done what he preaches in every interview or conversation he has. Bodes very well for the future that his message is resonating with the group so well.

Think they're gonna dine out on the Europa League run, get season ticket money in and hope they get through the CL qualification, or at least make EL groups again. If they get bad draws or slip in the qualifiers I reckon GVB could be gone at the very start, or at least hanging by a thread and staring down sacked/left by Christmas. They'd have to sell anything they could to try to break back towards even, no way they could spend without truly putting the entire mortgage on Green Zero...

Was exactly this time last year the news broke about our interest in Eddie Howe. Feels like the quickest 12 months ever

Some great reading on the Hun forums. They are apoplectic, especially re the 12 point turnaround by some fat Aussie, and Gio has been given a 3 year extension :101:

Chris Sutton last night saying on BBC 5Live if Ange can lead the Bhoys to the treble this season, it will be a greater achievement than what Martin O'Neill achieved in 2000/01. The MNC were talking about Ange and what he's done quite a bit actually. They spent a good 15 minutes talking Celtic, Ange, etc... well worth a listen, from about 10min in is when they start talking Celtic...
