I’ll be expecting at least a few league titles back to back, a treble, a Europa League final, and 2x last 16 appearances in the Champions League.

You and a few others are setting your pal up for a massive fall. At least try and be impartial, a stupid statement like the last one in your post makes you lose any form of credibility.

 

Bold claim, i’m now expecting a European cup final, being able to beat Liverpool, Juventus and Barcelona like we did under Martin O’Neill.

 

In fact, that's exactly what Ange will be aiming for.

His ambition will be nothing less than to make Celtic the best team in Europe.

Yes, that's quite a lot to take in...but why would any fan want a manager who was not striving for exactly that?

 

Our board would have known the problem with the Pro Licence, all about delaying tactics, you know its coming. They will walk away from getting Ange in because UEFA wont make an exception, Kennedy and Strachan junior will carry on on until Clarke becomes available after the Euros. Appoint Strachan Senior as DOF and the Board have their dream team for the season. Cheap and cheerful !! Clarke , Kennedy and Junior Strachan in the dugout with Strachan Senior bringing loans deals in as DOF !!

No, I don't think Rodgers had that ambition. If he did he'd still be there, but he took another job.

Ange wants the very best for every team he manages. And Celtic may just give him the platform to show his mettle.

The fact that he’s happy to accept this job suggests otherwise. He couldn’t be walking into a bigger basketcase of a club. He couldn’t be joining a club in a bigger mess than Celtic.

So save me all this * about how he’s so wise and principled. About how it was all part of Ange’s ‘masterplan’ He’s accepting it because he’s never been given an opportunity like this before, and at 55 he won’t be again.

Forgive me for being cynical when it’s my shambles of a club, gambling on this guy. He literally doesn’t hold the necessary qualifications.

The uefa coaching licences are a racket ffs.

They are no indicator of managerial ability.

The licence courses are a * glorified hall pass. That's it.

The way some bang on about this as some sort of smoking gun that proves Posteglocou is a charlatan is completely embarrassing.

Iain * Dowie has a uefa pro licence.... should we rush to sign him up?
Is Kennedy more palatable because he has his licences?

What is disturbing however is, again, the lack of foresight by our dithering and wholly incompetent board.
Again, like Howe, they have no * planning in place to offset mitigating circumstances. They would have known that Chopper didn't have the licences, and seem to have prepared for the eventual spanner in the works by polishing the spanner.

I reiterate again, as soon as fans are allowed back in the stadium, it must be all out war against Desmond's regime.

 

All this talk of Gordon Strachan getting the job is mental. I can't take anyone serious that wants Strachan, O'Neil or one of our old players to get the job.

Steve clarkes on record a few times even this week as saying he will be trying to lead scotland to qatar 2022 so hes defo not gonna be here and he wouldnt touch this shambles

 

Archie Fraser who was head of the A-League in 2009/10ish has been quoted as saying Ange had his UEFA pro badge back then, and was one of only two Australian managers to have it, at the time, ironically the other was originally from Scotland.

Rodgers had an ambition for Celtic that neither the board or Scotland as a whole could fulfil.

 

True, but they constantly need renewing. If he had his pro badge back then and hasn't renewed he has to start the process again.

 

Whether they're a racket on not (they are) or Whether they're an indicator of ability (they're not) is irrelevant. You need them.
No one is using it as a weapon to paint Ange as a charlatan. The fact he's missing these licences makes every bit of this shitshow even more unbearable for us, that's the issue. All these little snags keep appearing and adding to the already palpable frustration.
This whole situation is now quite frankly ludicrous. And just seems never ending.
Appoint the * or don't, just getting * on with it. Time is running out on us.
There's no adequate words to convey the level of anger I'm feeling about this whole thing right now.
