The speculation was that he had no idea what he was doing, was hard to get hold of, which if true, then that would slow down the speed of transfers.

But you know what, none of it really matters now. Let’s all just get in behind the team.

 

There’s several interviews now where Ange states part of his contract was him having total control over recruitment.
He will live and die by it.

 

Will it be his downfall with the board !

 

Nope because they try to shake him off the top of the tree the fans will (this time) have their say. It will be time to take a stand!

 

Hopefully we won’t have to, but if it did come to it, then the fans wouldn’t do a thing in my opinion. The end of last season showed that as a support, we are happy to allow this board to do whatever they like, and we will still keep our mouths shut and stump up cash. Let’s just enjoy what’s happening now though and hopefully we have Ange here long term and we continue to improve at the rate we have since he come in.

 

The accuracy now is beginning to match the tempo.
Technique so much better across the board compared to earlier in the season.
Massive kudos to Ange and the coaches for that.

Thing is, there is 0 chance of complacency under Ange, every game he'll be drilling into them to play it like a cup final, we could have easily taken our foot off the gas today and went for a 1-0 or 2-1 win, but we played the exact same tempo we did against the huns, and I've no doubt we'll play the exact same way against the sheep on Wednesday.

 

Difference to our energy levels in the 2nd half when we have quality we can put on. Ange got it right to bulk up the midfield.

 

Not wrong about most of us being pessimistic about the support /funds any manager would be given.

But this turn around is more about Ange the man, even on the finances! as hes bought in relatively unknown bargains & turned a club around in a few months!
Turned Celtic around because of his own experiences, brought in some very special Japanese players he knew, not because he was given any extra significant funding or favored backing!

Think about it
In context of the Millions wasted by NL via lawell on the likes of Ajeti and Barkas & the wasted time & funds in so many projects, from perez to gutman etc.

Has Ange really been exceptionally backed in any remotely generous or risky way?

To be fair!
Compared to that overpaid bloated megalomaniac lawell, at least Nicholson for the now, does not appear to imagine he is also a top scout & overall team advisor/manager.
but that's hardly any special praise! what we fans should be expecting from what are well paid accountants.

 

The tempo won't drop now with the same quality coming off the bench... exciting times.
