It's easy to forget how decimated our current squad is. Literally no fit strikers and 1 fit first choice winger, not to mention Rogic's hamstring on a tightrope everytime he plays.

For me, he's done a tremendous job so far, on yerself big man :ange2:

One look at the starting XI tells you all you need to know. We need to strengthen in key areas and ideally find a way of reducing how many injuries we get.

We’re going through a rebuild this season wether we like it or not, and there will be plenty of ups and downs. It’s credit to Ange that we’re in touching distance, imo.

14 wins, a draw and a loss in our last 16 in all competitions. That's * incredible for where we were in August. What a job he has done, anyone who thinks differently is either blind or a *.

Imagine the reaction if he started Rogic who pinged a hamstring after half an hour and we drop points :giggle1:

Folk need to stop * greeting and enjoy that, has the feeling of a massive, massive 3 points tonight. Half his team missing with one eye on a cup final and a blatant cheating hun * of a ref determined to cost us points. Great result.

Considering most of us thought we wouldn't even get into Europe this season we are doing well. We are in a mess player wise and hopefully Jan window will help with that. Did ange not admit the style of training was not helping with injuries but said he will not change anything.

    That is incredible.

Wasn’t even aware we were on that good of a run. Must just be due to us still being behind in the league that it’s went under the radar a bit.

Not much he can regarding the starting 11 and subs tonight. Only emphasises the need for our best ever January window and a break for the players. He's not responsible for the sending off either. So not gonna be harsh on him. Just keep the wins coming and get us to January in the hunt.

That’s the first real sign of never say die determination and spirit taking us over the line when all else failed.

Down to 10 men at Dingwall in winter, half a squad injured and a last second winner from your right back in the 6 yard box when it appeared it had slipped away.

    Ange Poste *’ coglu.

Ange Postecoglous was speaking to the BBCafter the game.

Have you managed to catch your breath after that?

It was an exciting finish and I’m really pleased for the lads after putting in an enormous shift with ten men and in the end there we found a way to get a winner. I think it was just reward for their efforts.

It looked like you’d have to settle for a point but Tony Ralston popped up with the winner after a great delivery by Tom Rogic.

I don’t think we were settling for anything. In the end we were trying to win the game. The spirit of the lads with ten men is that we won’t settle for a point. It’s not what we are about, we wanted to win the game and they did it.

What were your thoughts on the two yellows and the red card for Starfelt?

I think the decisions went against us tonight but I’m not going to complain about it. I just want to win games of football and that’s what I keep telling the lads. We keep just keep doing our thing, winning games of football and not worry about these other things that can potentially try to derail us.

You’ve had a lot of injuries. How did that affect team selection tonight?

Yeah, we’ve had a lot of injuries, particularly in that front third so we had to get creative tonight. Liel did a great job in leading the line and young Moff as well when he came on and gave us a bit of energy which was pleasing. We had to dig deep and we got the rewards.

And the three points, it’s important to keep pressure on Rangers as well.

It’s just important to get the three points, I’m not really worried about anyone else.

    Any update on Kyogo?

No, not really. It’s a day to day thing. We will see how he is in a couple of days.

Is the focus all on Sunday now?

Absolutely. It’s a big game for us so we will get down the road and recover and get ready for it.

I didn't like Moffat going up top with Abada after the sending off, was completely ineffective there. Should have been left on the wing.

Just a minor complaint, man is working wonders with a decimiated squad.

Needed to give us balance because we didn't have a right winger at that point.

Given who we had available, Rogic is the one player who can come on and impact things. Which is exactly what he did do. He was never going to play 90 minutes right before the cup final, so if he starts and we find ourselves needing a goal, you either have to leave him on or replace him with, who, Moffat? Henderson?

I was getting * off during that game, but he really is doing a fantastic job. Has had key players unavailable the entire season so far for one reason or another but to have 14 wins from the last 16 is pretty incredible.

Can't wait until we have our best players back fit, with a few signings in January.
