    Nah, we’re more settled now than we were a month or two ago. People were talking about getting rid of Ange, there was a lot of hysteria. Now we’re getting guys back and have more cover for those positions. It was always going to be difficult without them, now we have a more settled defence and more cover.

    That period wasn't just about Kyogo and McGregor being out; there were matches where Ange literally didn't have a single attacking option on the bench to turn to. Add to that a new defence that were playing their first games together, and any manager was likely to struggle.

    At any rate, had Ange adapted by changing the system to grind out a few results, he would have set back the overall progress of what he's trying to build. Maybe then we don't go on the 7 wins from 8 run or win away in Europe.

    Criticism was warranted, but people went waaay overboard with it, myself included. People calling him a dud, a yes-man and 2 people wanting him sacked.

    It's not really an Ange issue tbh, we do the same with players too.

    Gerrard had no choice. Stay and be on 1 trophy from 9,10,11,12 while Ange goes past him in his first season. What does that do to your stock :rip_1:

    This is Gerrard’s only chance at the Premier League before he’s found out.
