Have you heard a single Ange interview since he arrived?

Juranovic isn't close to displacing Ralston. Thought he was poor today. We missed Taylor.

I get that, but the guys totally out of position, can see that with the way he kept cutting inside to go on his right foot. Would just love to see that guy in his right position, the guy clearly has a lot of quality.

Closest he can get to it at the moment is right wing, instead of Abada. But if Forrest could start a game soon, then that's not happening.

I think he played GG because he felt we needed more of a physical threat. The huns have more aerial threat than us, all over the park probably, which helps against teams camping in. Our squad is full of small, technical players and it's hindering us at times domestically with no real threat from corners or free kicks.

We've been lacking a decent target man type for years as well.Jullien coming back will also help in that respect from set pieces at least.

We really need to get some urgency in our game instead of waiting until the last 10 minutes, when a team is going to waste most of that anyway. We just seem to think we will score eventually then panic when haven’t and there’s hardly anytime left.

Is having to stay on the pitch a rule if your injured and need treatment? I noticed when Starfelt pulled up he was pretty much of the pitch then ran back on to go down and that ate up more time. But if that’s a rule then fair enough.

People keep on saying that, and he has had some nice touches, and 2 decent penalties, but yet to see anything that really impresses me. First game against Rangers is probably the highlight for me.

Either he improves at LB or I don't see him getting much game time.

    Not for me.

Consistency with formation and tactics isn't always a positive; it can be flipped and described as predictable.

Said this on here a few times in the last few months but the best football managers find a way to win by hook or by crook. Ange thinks winning comes secondary to implementing a long-term approach and let his system come to fruition.

To me there are 2 trajectories that we go on from here:

    A. It all clicks, we play swashbuckling attacking football and blow away the opposition like Wenger's Invincibles

or B. We play tidy football, stubbornly sticking with a system that doesn't deliver success like Wenger's Arsenal post early noughties.

1 thing is certain, he won't change. He's already said as much. Hopefully it results in outcome A but truthfully I can't say that confident that will be the case. Alarm bells are ringing...

    Aye. Why ?
How is that relevant to him sitting watching the boring sideways passing for 90 mins ?

Have been for a while. When it clicks, it looks class and we'll look great. But with him being so stubborn, other managers are easily outthinking him.

We've put 81 crosses in against Livingston over the last two games, according to a statistics page on Twitter.

    0 goals...

We saw the difference when rogic went off on Wednesday night and bitton came on and then today the attack from midfield is too slow and again selling your attacking midfielders in Christie and ntcham and not replacing them could bite us on the * in coming games .

    Outsmarted by Martindale, again.

Would be comforting to see Plan B every now and then, today was proof that sticking to Plan A regardless will end in disappointment.

I get the impression that he wanted to take a different approach (a strong striker up front, then later adding a second striker), but the constant emphasis on plan A during training (silky possession football) left us neither here, nor there, stuck in possession-minded thought patterns when forceful solutions were needed. In the second half, this was evident. Players conserving possession instead of driving down the flanks. Two strikers begged for balls to be lumped into the box in the final 10 minutes, but Ange just didn't want to commit that "sacrilege".

However, he must see that a natural LB is needed in the LB spot. We have three fit players that could be classified as such. Ok, Boli is not registered for CL. but Montgomery and Scales are.

Not listening to it all, but 'not sure what more we could do' sounds like Lennon.

    I agree with you.

The Huns are more physical and more reliant on cross balls and set pieces. It's a large part of their game.

I get that we are a different type of side but I still think a 1/6 return v Livingston is horrendous. And tbh when we go back to their shitehole in March, I'm not overly confident that will change.

Given that we're more a ball-playing team we need some serious investment in midfielders. It's scary how poor we are when either Rogic or McGregor are missing. And even when both are fit and on form, I still don't think Turnbull is the answer alongside them.

For me, it has to be either Rogic or Turnbull in the 10. It can't be both. I'd go for Rogic because his quality us greater.

McGregor as the 6 and a new signing in January as the 8.

See if that isn't prioritised in January we are 100% finishing second.
