I’d say the fans are now 50/50 on Ange.Me?Ill back him until the end of season after another transfer window. He’ll recognise the positions he needs to strengthen in,whether our Tory board back him is another thing.

Another worry is how easily we capitulate after a good start.

If you look at the last 10 years it was poor overall under Lennon, dire under Deila, amazing under Rodgers and then dire ever since.

The bottom line is we’re appallingly run and it’s been * * overall for years but a combination of the huns dying and Rodgers doing an outstanding job has papered massively over the cracks.

We’ll continue to decline until the board are removed.

His 'system' is a * pile of *. He's being managing in * australian soccer farmer's league, and employed this pish and had *some* success with it. Everycunt fawned over him, made documentaries etc, unreal.
When he won the lottery with us, he's thought to himself 'I'm gonna go manage in scotland and europe, and I'll play my brilliant system. They won't know what'* them' ... when in actual fact it's primary school nonsense, and has been sussed out pronto.

It could but at a minimum he needs 3 months for that to happen as the personnel to be great aren't currently at the club.

Another 3 months of stubbornly sticking to a system that the current crop can't carry out effectively and that delivers minging results will ensure that he doesn't get the time that he needs to deliver his dream.

I had this standpoint too but if it gets to January and we are say 15 points behind having not beaten rangers again would you still be the same? I'm not so sure.

We need to start seeing progress. I wasn't expecting the league this season but that doesn't mean I want to see the same as last season.

Hes not been helped at all. The fact he still doesn't have his own staff is laughable.

As soon as we concede a goal, we are like a boxer who has just been put on his * and gets up and takes another pounding because his legs are gone.

It's rife throughout the entire club. Board room full of gammon, a CEO in for 70days, no head of recruitment, no DoF, no data analysts or sports science until last week. Ange not having his own staff in, No vision of where we're headed. Still zero communication towards the fans. Zero leadership anywhere in the club....no end of the shambles in sight.

Dubai should be good this year though.

I really don't know what people are watching that think we will turn a corner, his tactics are amateurish, he looks out his depth like Lennon and Deila.

What I don't understand is why there is such little movement in the side. Playing a fast paced, possession-based attacking side requires loads of movement. Players need to be moving all the time, central players need to be constantly showing for the ball, wide players need to drop deep and cover each other as well as making runs, defenders need to step in.

If that's the style we're trying to play then why do we see almost no movement in our midfield? Players routinely make a pass then stop moving, or jog to the side. That's useless to everybody. Players lose the ball then just stand there and hope someone else wins it back. The full backs come inside while everyone else stands around waiting for the opposition to take advantage of the big holes that have just appeared in our defence.

It doesn't make any sense to me. I know it's one of the hardest and most exhausting styles of football to play. But it's like we're not even trying to play it. We're constantly caught in possession because no one is showing for the ball. We're firing balls into the box with no one attacking it. Playing risky cavalier football only works if you actually play the football. We're just taking the risks without any of the hard work to make it pay off.

I'd be worried if we weren't creating chances, we are..

Aye, inverted full backs leaves you wide open and the flaws in transition are clear as day..

Win at Aberdeen could be the start of a winning run tho.. And the international break gives us some more time.

Don't see it as a lost cause, yet..

What people need to realise is, Ange wasn't brought in to be like a Rodgers type appointment or even a Lennon type.

He was brought in to be a Deila type appointment.

    A project.

    The cheap option.

Someone who'll be grateful for the chance and not rock the boat.

Papering over the cracks from last season.

He brought in 12 players to appear as if he's being backed, but we sold/released 15. The squad is thinner now than last season.

He may have found a few gems in Kyogo and Abada, but Delia built the majority of Rodgers team and he didn't stand a chance.

Ange won't be aloud to succeed here with that board in place.

I wasn't expecting the league initially.

But when you see how awful the Huns are.

A proper rebuild would have seen us champions.

By which I mean, a proper football structure, scouting department, sport science, video and analytics department, medical personnel, the manager's own choice of assistant staff.

I mean these should be standard requirements ffs

    Your wrong.

I hate to be blunt but there's a reason you don't see any/many teams playing with inverted wing backs .... you actually need players that can play as inverted wing backs!!

I do agree in a sense but even then to put all of that in place takes about 6-12 months tbh.

We aren't even seeing any progress in most of those areas and we are in October, which is the worry.

I accepted this season as a transitional one without a league title because I thought we would (perhaps naively) see these changes being made and it would take time.

But we aren't doing it. Again it comes back to me just wanting to see progress and I'm seeing nothing.

One thing that will definitely get Ange the sack is continuing with a midfield that contains Rogic and Turnbull, you can’t play 4-3-3 with those two in your midfield.

I know options are limited but you need to even try one of the other players from the squad in its widest sense. This can’t continue, I have never seen a team surrender the middle of the park in games the way we do the now.

The two of them are worse than traffic cones trying to press and win the ball back and both look for far too many touches on it. They have zero pace and stamina and flatter to deceive more often than not. You can get away with one of them maybe but not both.

Does he even have a favoured back room staff tho..?

He definitely doesn't have an assistant that follows him around.

He would instantly have a more solid side if he dropped this inverted fullback stuff it causes us more problems than anything else most of the time its essentially 2 at the back
