Indeed, I few had a go when I said it would be a massive blow when The news broke about Kyogo being injured.

Thing is we had Cal Mac when Kyogo was out and we still played * really.

Ange for me needs to adapt, quickly or he will be out the door. I’m not angry with him at all but some of the blame does lie with him. I would say 90% would lie with the board though.

 

That’s if we even qualify for that.

Heaven forbid that they're being pushed to an acceptable level for a professional footballer, you need to remind yourself these guys get paid handsomely to be fit and kick a ball. That's their job, the reason why the injuries are happening is because A. Lennons absolute * poor tenure and approach to coaching was miles below the standard of a European Cup football playing club. B. The boards lack of investment in recruiting the correct backroom staff to be able to structure the team, C. again the boards unwillingness to back the manager with his own staff D. DD and his egotistical ruining of the club, signing players that have zero sense both tactically nor financially, you can't just sign players and force them on a manager, just shows how 2 bit we are being ran.

'Supporters' I use that term very loosely, that are calling for his head already are embarrassing, take a look at your club and who is destroying it, trust me it's not a guy that's been in the door for 2 minutes, it's the stale old men in the boardroom that have ran our club for the past ten years, old men, old ideas, old ways of running a football club and old ideologies. They have wrecked our club not the manager, he's been sold down the river with a 12" * up his *. David Blane couldn't magic his way our of this mess that we are in right now, this isn't going to be solved in 1 transfer market, nor 1 season this is going to take years to rectify, but with this board hang on tight as they will just let this cancer set in with no remedy or cure, just greed.

 

thats the sort of shocking stat i had to check up and sure enough after 7 games we had 6 wins and a draw ,scored 3 more goals conceded the same and here i am thinking we have improved a bit

 

Keep saying the same thing, I has apoplectic with rage with the appointment.

He's made mistakes in my eyes but he's been dealt a right * hand.

I'll judge him when he has the staff back, this season was always a dead rubber due to our * * fudmuppet lack of foresight custodians.

I believe Ange will turn this team around if given time, which I think he should and will get.

We're better than we were last season in general. It was around October time we went on a horrendous run of something like 1 win in 13 games.

No one expected us to do anything this season, it was only how we blew away Dundee and St Mirren that gave us some optimism.

He's done well considering we've lost Brown, Christie, Edouard and Ajer all in one window and needed to be replaced. That's four automatic first choice or influential players gone. Our captain, our best central defender and our top goalscorer gone. Tough ask to turn anything around in one window.

We need to be as close to the league leaders as possible until January when we can try strengthen further.

 

Surely you could also say a lack of investment in the manager as well no ? It's easy to say a lack of recruitment in the backroom now but when we pointed to that months ago we were told it was how Ange operated and he has final say so why is it an issue now ? We were also told he would walk away if he wasn't getting what he wanted and I agree McCarthy and Scales are DD signings. So whilst your defending the manager and calling out other fans you're simultaneously flying in the face of everything we were told when he was appointed and alluding to him just taking whatever he was given and dare I say it being a yes man.

I 100% blame the board for how they have handled everything since Lennon was appointed but Ange is also a part of that. I can't believe that any person on our board Mckay included had any idea who Ange Postecoglu was whist negotiating with Eddie Howe

 

i dont buy into this nobody expected us to do anything thinking. i would expect with the massive financial advantage we have to be challenging for everything domestically especially with a spot in c.l. and the money that goes with that up for grabs. it was up to ange to make sure he didnt get shafted in losing the 4 automatic starters ( more like 6 with frimprong and elyounoussi gone too ) and get them replaced with similar quality but he got shafted because he hasnt the managerial clout to be making demands of a board whos only ambition is to make a profit. after last season i have absolutey no doubt he will be given the whole season no matter what

I'm amazed at the amount of people on here giving Ange a free pass or saying give him time, you don't get time at Celtic. Ange has to buck up his ideas and fast or he will feel the wrath of the support very soon, some people on here think we're Hibs or somebody.

 

Ange is there on his lonesome. Getting rid of him doesn’t get rid of the problem - it’ll still be the same coaching and scout set up.

 

I don't think anyone was expecting to qualify for the CL.

I don't know anyone who thought we'd challenge domestically after last season. I think everyone was unanimous in thinking that this was a free hit and that we should focus on a rebuild. We'll finish second no matter what.

The board will spend what they want. No one can tell them otherwise. I think this is widely accepted.

 

Who the * would we bring in if we got rid of Postecoglou?!

The board * about for months with Howe, I have no faith in them getting somebody in to start with, never mind somebody with any sort of pedigree.

 

The size of the job/rebuild is huge...

It was never going to be achieved in one window or without any proper mechanisms in place at the club to achieve success.

I feel for Ange, I really do..

I've seen enough positives to say he needs some time.

Last three games have been an absolute chore tho and part of that is on him with some baffling selections and zero game management..

Lose at Aberdeen and its going to be an horrendous international break.

 

It’s not embarrassing compared though. These comparisons are stupid considering the amount of factors that come into play. Pedro was there in March the season before and had 1 point more at this stage. They’d scored 13 and conceded 10. We’ve scored 17 conceded 5.

With time in the previous season and a full preseason, that’s far more embarrassing.

As an isolated scenario this is embarrassing in its own right but * comparing ourselves to them.

* me it's like you guys are in a bad marriage but "Who else do we get".
Is it really like that? You have someone so bad but you have to stick with what you have?

I know there is a lot of hate for Rodgers but I will say this, he would have this team, injuries and all, kicking * right now!!

We have a * board and a * manager!

The manager we can change and the guy really isn't up to this job.

 

I just don't think the job is as big is everyone says.

Everyone makes out like it was some impossible task. Total * bollocks. You only need to finish above the Huns and they have mostly reverted to their pre-pandemic form. If we had a competent window and got the right backroom team in we'd win this league. We'll lose it because we absolutely * it.

You'd think we were up against Real Madrid the way people talk.

If they came out and won every game then I'd admit the task was too big. At the moment it looks like there will be a large margin of error, more than enough to cover the size of the rebuild we had. The fact is we're completely * it up due to total incompetence above the manager's position.

Saying this season was always a write-off is inaccurate and lazy.
